Install ROM :
CWM ( CN )
Step 1: Download the custom ROM copied to an external SD card root directory
Step 2: the shutdown state. While holding down:
– Power button + volume button up, to enter the recovery mode.
– Wipe Data / Factory Reset -> delete all user data
– Wipe Cache Partition -> Wipe cache
– Advanced -> Wipe Dalvik Cache
Step 3: Return to recovery main interface Install zip from sdcard -> choose zip from sdcard -> Select your ROM
Step 4: Brush complete, restart the phone Patience required – first boot takes a while
after you've installed ROM full access to the system is restarted again it's better
if not reboot into the interface, please remove the battery to re-install the battery to restart!

Install RECOVERY :
- Unpack FlashTools, and Click on Flash_tool.exe
- Unzip the mx28_CHS_recovery
- Select a the MT6582_Android_scatter_emmc.txt in RECOVERY
- Wait file to be added into Flash Tool
- choose Option->USB Model,click USB Model
–> Choose Option->DA DownLoad All->Speed->High Speed, click High Speed
- Turn off your phone, remove the battery.
- "Press Ctrl+D (hit Download button)" in SP Flash Tool v5.1348.00
- and connect your phone into the computer via USB data cable.
- The process will start and a red progress bar will appear after color purple, yellow.
- And green circles display
- Finish !

Seems to kill WiFi and Bluetooth. Had to flash back to stock to get them back. Not sure if it's me being a halfwit or the ROM. Same with the MIUI mod which is a shame because, other than that, they're both excellent ROMs and give full RW access to /system, unlike the stock ROM (GRR!).
It's thr rom! Several people had the same problem. In addition the mx28 doesn't reconize microSD cards of class 10! (The fastest). So use only class 4 or at maximum 6. Otherwise it won't read it.
