Important

The rom is a port of the Rom Mokee of the Z7 mini. The Mokee center can not be eliminated because many things would stop working.
They will skip updates, but they do not work for this rom.
To avoid updates, disable it in the Mokee center.

NEW ROM: 27/02/2018, Rom complete without gapps.

Some time ago came using a Rom Mokee for our Z7 Max, which worked quite well.
The Rom unloaded it from Needrom and published it "zolDM". It was an official Mokee port of the Z7 mini, but it suddenly disappeared from Needrom and the author stopped supporting and publishing it.

As I think Rom works quite well, I have managed to take it, taking advantage of the work already started, I updated it to the latest "NiGHTLY" and updated the kernel, which is compiled by me, thanks to the sources of "PaoloW8".

I think everything works, if you see something that does not work, you just have to tell me.

Important: Before doing anything I advise you to make backup, so that in case of problems you can restore the rom you had.

Multilanguage, Gapps not included, must be installed separately by recovery

Rom Updated. Last security patch. (05/08/2017)
Upload update every 4-5 days.

Installation:

I use this recovery: https://www.needrom.com/download/twrp-3-0-3-5/

* Installed by means of TWRP recovery.
* Download the rom file and the gaps, save them in SD or internal memory.
* You start in recovery mode.
* Make wipe of everything, less of the internal and external memory. If you make the internal wipe, then you will have to save the rom in the SD.
* Once made the wipes, you install the Rom.
* When installation is complete
* Install the Gapps
* Once finished installing, reboot

To improve the Wi-Fi and network signal, install the Baseband 389. It is installed by recovery, without wipes.

The two sim have LTE. In order to operate the Sim 2 LTE, you must set the Sim 1 as "GSM only", put in airplane mode and then re-enable.

If you want the most updated gapps, just go to this page: The Open GApps Project

You always choose: ARM / 7.1 / the module you want, I usually choose the smaller one that is the peak.

Updates (always have a backup handy)

Important: Updates need to be installed in order. After installing an update, you have to restart to install the next one.

The updates that appear to the terminal can not be installed, they will give you error, they are also for the Z7 mini. I do not delete it because if you click on them you comment the changes introduced, which in most cases do not matter.

Those of this terminal, I will put them here to install by recovery.

Here I will post the changes introduced by the dev of mokee, or that I can contribute myself. They are installed by recovery and do not affect anything you have, they are like a kind of ota.

The Mokee changes can be seen here: ChangeLog For MoKee Open Source, many are only subject to translations and some improvements, although sometimes they may not improve on the above. It is not a stable version and there are variations daily, although I will hang the updates once a week, so that it is not too heavy.

Remember to make a copy, in case you do not like it you could return to the previous thing, although from one to another update they are solving the subjects.

Hi MDSdev,
Have a little question about update and donation.
First : The ota updates you are giving, do you have to do them all which come after the complete rom or do you have to take only the last one?
Your OTA updates (at the moment last one is 37 – OTA-MK71.2-nx505j-201710261032-201710310938-NIGHTLY)
is approximus 13mb
What is the difference when I look in the rom under the app Mokee Center ?
I have installed Rom complete 32 updated, with google play – MK71.2-nx505j-201710071024-NIGHTLY. and when I take a look in the app Mokee Center in the tab Updater I can see 6 updates, but these update are 403mb and the last one is MK71.2-nx507j-201711031128-NIGHTLY.zip ??
Second Donation:
In the Mokee Center app you have the tab support, in this tab you could donate with paypal ( Which I already did !) is it the same as donating to this threat ?
In the app they also mention if you donated you could remove advertising when showing a mokee.license file on the root directory of the SD-card ??
Can you give al little explenation of this all ??

  It is explained in the description. This rom is a port that I made of the rom Mokee of the Z7 mini.
  The updates that the Mokee center application marks you do not work for this port and the donation account is from mokee, it's not mine.
  The Mokee center application left it because it gives problems if I delete it.
  The changes are those made by the team Mokee and you can see them on their website, this is also explained in the description of the rom.
  If you installed the complete rom with 32 updates, you only have to install from 33 onwards.

  The Mokee center application helps you to know how many updates are coming out, nothing more than that. By donating to your account you will not get anything.
  The updates I charge to upload them every 4 or 5 days. Together several update, I modify them and make a file.

Hi, great rom but i have problem with snapchat, when im loging in I have encounter this error: "Oh no! Your login temporarily failed, so please try again later. If your login continues to fail, please visit support.snapchat.com/a/failed-login". When Snapchat is detecting something different in soft, it blocking possibility of logging. The problem is that I uninstalled xposed and i have unrooted device, and it still doesn't work. Somebody know a solution? I will be grateful.

  The sd801 can reach very high temperatures. When you install a rom or playing.
  Under normal conditions it does not reach that temperature, I have it in Efficiency mode in battery settings.

If someone has a problem with battery usage – very quickly discharges – go to google play market settings – turn off updates and notifications.
This helped me to save 15-20% battery life
