Install ROM:
- Unpack FlashTools, and Click on Flash_tool.exe
- Under Download-XML, Click on the Choose button.
- Locate the XML File in the rom called "…servicefile.xml"
- if you have the file "Authentication File" also located in the decompressed rom
- Click the "Download" button
- Connect your Mediatek Device to the computer using the USB Cable (make sure it is power off).
- After connecting the device to the computer Press Volume Down or Volume Up key, so that SP Flash Tool can detect the device.
- Once the computer detects the device, the flashing or installation process will begin automatically.
- the installation process is completed, a Green Ring will appear.
- Finish !
- Close the SP Flash Tool and disconnect your Mediatek device from the computer.

Flashtools refuses to accept the Flashfile.xml as a proper "download-xlm" option.
Tried both the flashtools provided in the post and the 2604 version. Any help would be appreciated!

Last update. Trying to use the stock firmware as a zip, RSD tells me "Get decompress file size error". This happens regardless of where I got the archive from, or which version.
If you have any thoughts on this, I'd be grateful!
