DESCRIPTION
ROM mobile Motorola Defy – ROM Android 4.1.1 Paranoid
ROM Install :
1.Connect your Motorola Defy or Defy Plus to PC using USB cable.
2.Copy both downloaded zip files to the SD card of your phone. Important: Don’t extract any file.
3.Disconnect USB and then turn off your phone.
4.Boot into recovery by pressing and holding Volume Down and Power button together. In recovery use Volume keys to navigate between options and Power button to select an option.
5.Perform a Nandroid backup of your existing ROM that you can restore later if this new ROM not work or you want to go back. To perform a backup, select Backup and Restore, then on the next screen, select Backup again. Go back to main recovery menu after backup is complete.
6.Now perform data wiping task. To do so, select wipe data/factory reset, then select Yes on next screen to confirm your action. Wait few minutes till the data wipe is complete. Next, select “wipe cache“ then select “Yes” on next screen to confirm. After that, from the main recovery screen, select Advanced and then Wipe Dalvik Cache. Select Yes on next screen to confirm your action. Again, wait few minutes till the data wipe process is completed. Go back to main recovery menu.
7.Select install zip from sdcard, then select choose zip from sdcard. Now, locate the Paranoid Android ROM zip file that you copied earlier in Step 2 and select it by pressing Power button. The ROM will now start installing.
8.Once the ROM installation process end, repeat the step 7 but choose gapps-jb-20120726-signed.zip instead of ROM zip to install the Google apps package.
9.Now perform data wiping task again. To do so, select wipe data/factory reset, then select Yes on next screen to confirm your action. Wait few minutes till the data wipe is complete.
10.When installation is completed, go back to the main recovery menu and select reboot system now to reboot the smartphone and boot up into customized Jelly Bean ROM Paranoid Android. The first boot will take time, so be patient!
11.Returning to Previous ROM: To go back to your previous ROM, boot into recovery, select backup and restore then restore your previous ROM by selecting it from the list.

HI socrates can you tell me where gapps file is? is it in the paranoidandroid zip file? as there is no link for the gapps file???
