ROM mobile Motorola Defy – Rom [CM9][4.0.4] how-to-install: The usual way, root with superoneclick, install 2nd-init, restart and hit volume down when the LED flashes blue than your in bootloader, go to System Recovery, custom recovery, than wipe date/factory reset and wipe cache+dalvik cache in advanced, than go back to CWM startscreen and select “install .zip from sdcard” chose Defy+++ CM9 4.0.4 ROM if you have defy red lense flash any Gingerbread-Kernel before that all, also wipe date/factory reset and wipe cache+dalvik cache before doing this, Gingerbread Kernel can be found by typing “Gingerbread Kernels for Defy” in the search box, you can flash one in this way: install RSD Lite 5.6 on your PC (search it in google I am to busy to post links for this standard programs) and install motohelper driver from motorola homepage on your PC in the Support/Downloads section, than remove battery from your Defy red lense / Defy+, press volume down and than power button wait until bootloader mode appers (Android Triangle loge with an “!”), than connect the phone to your PC via USB and start RSD Lite select the kernel to flash and everything should be fine, If you have already CWM, go CWM and install an Gingerbread kernel as .zip (you can find those by searching it here in the forum, there plenty of them)
