Install ROM:

CWM ( CN )

Step 1: Download the custom ROM copied to an external SD card root directory
Step 2: the shutdown state. While holding down:
            – Power button + volume button up, to enter the recovery mode.
            – Wipe Data / Factory Reset -> delete all user data
            – Wipe Cache Partition -> Wipe cache
Step 3: Return to recovery main interface Install zip from sdcard -> choose zip from sdcard -> Select your ROM
Step 4: Brush complete, restart the phone Patience required – first boot takes a while

- Unpack FlashTools, and Click on Flash_tool.exe
- Select a the MT6589_Android_scatter_emmc.txt in ROM
- Wait file to be added into Flash Tool
- choose Option->USB Model,click USB Model
–> Choose Option->DA DownLoad All->Speed->High Speed, click High Speed
- Turn off your phone, remove the battery.

- "Press F9 (hit Download button)" OR " if upgrade ROM Firmware->Upgrade "
- and connect your phone into the computer via USB data cable.
- The process will start and a red progress bar will appear after color purple, yellow.
- And green circles display
- Finish !

- You can now safely disconnect your phone and turn it on.

※Please make a backup of your device before installing or updating ROM

Hello is this rom s-view compatible? i have buy different flip covers whith chip but none of them goes in the s-view modus

Be careful… it contains a Malware: TripWidget… search for it.. you won't like what i does. And you cannot uninstall as far as you don't root. Look for MT6589-Root-hdcgalaxy.com and root it. Then uninstall this Malware with System Uninstaller (PLay store)

By the way… after GPS issue… another little one… when I connect Jack headphones, phone doens't detect them as connected… which is an issue for FM Radio, because even if it works as Antenna, you hear radio from speaker + headphones…
And when I make a call, if I use headphones, it doesn't switch, I cannot hear in headphones, but yes on normal speaker (embedded).
Any idea? I flashed latest ROM proposed here… so what else can I do?

Hi guys, still GPS stuff… you can impriove as well by entering Satellites GPS feature, enable EPO + A-GPS and wihtin EPO settings, download infos… other settings in AGPS settings too… it worked for me and now I get a fix in a few seconds with Sygic.
