Install ROM:

CWM ( CN )

Step 1: Download the custom ROM copied to an external SD card root directory
Step 2: the shutdown state. While holding down:
            – Power button + volume button up, to enter the recovery mode.
            – Wipe Data / Factory Reset -> delete all user data
            – Wipe Cache Partition -> Wipe cache
Step 3: Return to recovery main interface Install zip from sdcard -> choose zip from sdcard -> Select your ROM
Step 4: Brush complete, restart the phone Patience required – first boot takes a while

- Unpack FlashTools, and Click on Flash_tool.exe
- Select a the MT6589_Android_scatter_emmc.txt in ROM
- Wait file to be added into Flash Tool
- choose Option->USB Model,click USB Model
–> Choose Option->DA DownLoad All->Speed->High Speed, click High Speed
- Turn off your phone, remove the battery.

- "Press F9 (hit Download button)" OR " if upgrade ROM Firmware->Upgrade "
- and connect your phone into the computer via USB data cable.
- The process will start and a red progress bar will appear after color purple, yellow.
- And green circles display
- Finish !

- You can now safely disconnect your phone and turn it on.

※Please make a backup of your device before installing or updating ROM

Vamos a ver… estos telefonos tienen debilidades claro, por el precio… no se puede tenerlo todo El GPS es pesimo y son mas lentos. Ademas, teniendo Dual SIM, no podras instalar Navigon o TomTom… solo Sygic funciona. Bueno, punto aparte, el N3 es muy impresionante, igual el S6 de No.1. Son de buena calidad globalmente, pero cuando hay un problema, te las arreglas con Internet y los forums.
Ahora, tu problema de ROM… el Boot debe de estar corrumpido. Intenta cargar la ultima version del SP Flash para empezar. la que comenté previamente. Luego solo instala No.1-N3_03-12-2013 que no deberia arrancar el telefono, pero sì cambiar el CWM… despues si eso funciona, podras hacer lo mismo con la 4.3_v1.0_20131231.
Y no esperes mucho de Alibaba o express, que solo venden. Aunque yo lo compré en chinapadmall y responden muy bien y rapido. El mio tiene un problema de casco que no le funciona la radio FM… debe de ser un defecto.

I was able to reflash the orginal rom but how do I flash the modem/ap database to write the Wifi mac ? My wifi wasn't working after update. I tried using SN write station and IMEI & SN writer.. but I can't get either one to detect the phone. I can only use SP flash tools using the no battery + down volume key + power button method to flash the original rom… I can also access adb root shell using battery + volume down key in "blue chinese test menu".. How do I enter meta mode on this phone to flash the wifi mac + update modem database?

  NM, I figured it out. To write IMEI/MACs etc. use must have phone off with battery IN the unit. To do a full rom flash you must take out battery and hold volume down + power key until you get the yellow progress bar. Now that I figured that out I may release some roms later myself

Actually this method doesn't work with your rom.. thats why it's working now I believe.. I used someone elses rom and it worked fine. Your rom must be bugged or corrupt.

my N3 has suddenly lost its mobile networks. Both sims show no network. Tried a reset, and re-flash, but no luck. Any ideas?

Hi,
I request help…. I have bought a No 1 N3 and receive it 2 days ago. I root it and I want to install this ROM.
I follow the tuto and all was OK (Green circle after flashing). When I try to reboot the phone…back screen… no way to boot it.
I try to flash again and after the first RED progression…. Error 4032…. What can I do???? I'm affraid having brick my phone….
