The most serious bug is that the data-partition (for the apps) has only a size of 1,65 GB. Normally it should have about 12 – 13 GB on the Note S. So you app-space is full in just a short time.

P.S.: You must flash the ROM with the google-apps in one step! – Otherwise you will be stuck in a bootloop.

Not true! At all up-to-date smartphones (I bought 3 during the last 2 months; 2 x Cubot, 1 x Xiaomi) offer a variable data-partition (for the apps) of the remaining rest of the internal memory. These are mostly at a fresh installation about 12 GB. If I reach the limit of 1,65 gigs here at the RR-ROM I get the error-message "Memory full, installation of the app refused" (or something like this). With all other custom-ROMs for the Cubot Note S I hadn't had this problem. There were always 12 gigs of data-memory available at the beginning. You should set the correct values for the data-partition in your ROM.

  I tested the rom for 2 weeks….had about 4gb of app data and never got this error….. Testing another MM rom so I’ll retest this and let you know…..did you at all play around with your partitions?

I checked the size of the data-(apps-)partition with Titanium Backup. And no, I didn't play around with re-partitioning/partition-sizes. I even don't believe that this is possible with the flash memory of the smartphone. At least you must have deeper knowledge to do it. I even flashed RR two times now, and always got the same result. All partitions were cleaned up by me before flashing (system, data, dalvik cache, cache) using TWRP-recovery. Maybe I'll try once more with cleaning up the internal memory, but I don't think that that this will change anything.

And… I nearly forgot: GPS also doesn't work. But this bug is in all Marshmallow-ROMs for the Cubot Note S. If people say, that it's working for them, they probably navigate just by WiFi.

  My GPS is working with NO WIFI and "DEVICE ONLY" GPS MODE. It need few minutes to connect with satellites.

after flash, have problem with support touchscreen, no touch funktion.

maybe cubot used different hardware. no driver support for this in boot image.

shit… maybe the boot image from official rom works?

Well the gps doesn't seem to work for me, I get the icon in the status bar, but it never locks to a satelite so I never get any data from it…

Well it was already working very badly with the original rom so it's not really a surprise, it's probably an extremely low quality chip there, makes me wonder if I shouldn't go for an external gps, apparently there are some very good and cheap solutions…

Except that very good rom. Battery calibration is probably as broken as what it was with the original rom but there isn't much which can be done about it, and it's not an issue. Eventually if the fm can be fixed some day it would be nice, it can always be useful…
