DESCRIPTION
This is the Official update for Jiayu S3 , to Android 5.1 posted on www.jiayu-store.com .This is not my work.
This is the link to the site mentioned above where the ROM was posted on 20.05.2016 :http://www.jiayu-store.com/blog/jiayu-s3-mt6752-android-5-1-update-rom/ .
I hope that people who know how to test and flash this ROM, will give reviews about the functionalities of this rom, so that others who know less ,can get to know how it works before the actual flash of the device.
The site which hosts the rom is pan.baidu.com and I managed to download it from there and upload it here on needrom.
IMPORTANT :On jiayu-store.com they say ,quote:
"Note: This ROM only for Jiayu S3 MT6752 version, NOT for Jiayu S3+ MT6753 version!
When you update, please choose "Firmware upgrade" , Not use "format all+download" in case baseband, SN, imei information lost and lead to signal instability. "
※Please make a backup of your device before installing or updating ROM

Ok, but can you explain why is trash? For what I know it hasn't been posted on needrom before.

Thanks for your feedback.But is it worth flashing? Because I am stuck on 4.4.4 and I got no OTA to 5.1.
There won't be OTA from 4.4 to 5.1 because fot that you need to re-format internal memory and that is not possible with OTA, only flashtool.
5.1 is OK but GPS is trash
There are lots of android 5 options avaialable why are you stuck ?
I bought the phone from a local retailer from my country and they wouldn't flash a rom ,only if it is from a official source like the jiayu store. And I cant flash it myself because I still have a year of warranty and if I do it i would loose my warranty. Even more even if I point out this ROM to them ,I don't know if it has problems or not.So this is why I am stuck on 4.4.4. Thanks for your reply.

you can flash also rom’s form tfandroid they have been authorized by Jiayu for updates they have also meny rom’s for 4.4

I still need to figure out.. Am still enjoying this rc5. Previously the screen always go blank but its no more and I hope it will stop forever.. An only waiting for marshmallow update or is there’s any upgrade of rc5.
