DESCRIPTION


This is the Official update for Jiayu S3 , to Android 5.1 posted on www.jiayu-store.com .This is not my work.

This is the link to the site mentioned above where the ROM was posted on 20.05.2016 :http://www.jiayu-store.com/blog/jiayu-s3-mt6752-android-5-1-update-rom/ .

I hope that people who know how to test and flash this ROM, will give reviews about the functionalities of this rom, so that others who know less ,can get to know how it works before the actual flash of the device.

The site which hosts the rom is pan.baidu.com and I managed to download it from there and upload it here on needrom.

IMPORTANT :On jiayu-store.com they say ,quote: 

"Note: This ROM only for Jiayu S3 MT6752 version, NOT for Jiayu S3+ MT6753 version!

When you update, please choose "Firmware upgrade" , Not use "format all+download" in case baseband, SN, imei information lost and lead to signal instability. "

    Good evening, I do not understand how this ROM can be installed in just a spanking update the software.

I 'm trying to start up from a day of phone . Then I asked a local setting a date and I chose the zip file of the Roma .

The phone restarts and I have a small robot that appears with instructions installation of the update of the current system.

But the heart of the machine running but nothing happens ...

Thank you my give solution to install this rom ...

    Its only on chinese, no other language, you even have to install an apk to be able to type other characters (only chinese characters on keyboard)

    Hi, guys… need advise from an expert ;) … i've a Jiayu S3 adv. (3gb) still with 4.4.4 (infos: s3sw 20150314-141844) …  and i want to update this… i dont understant much about android systems (i'm a old school windows guy). can someone help me?guide me how to do it, what/where the best rom or so?
