DESCRIPTION
This is official ROM S147 for Lenovo A820. I don't install this, because I wait for custom ROM from Infrared based on this S147.
Maybe it can help with unbrick for example, because this is "Factory ROM".
Dear Infrared, please download it and make Your custom ROM
.
※Please make a backup of your device before installing or updating ROM

please make a rooted multilanguage flashable zip
Anyone flashed it and checked if all work well?
It works fine, cant see no difference to the S139 that I was using before, and it has only Chinese and English languages…
this rom is multilanguage?
No, only Chinese and English unfortunately
hi, im new here. never do tis before. I have download the file, but further step I have no idea. Any guideline?
Thanks.
is the brightness bug fixed in this buld ??? or any other bugs fixed ???
i hv download the file, please tell me what should do. Thanks.
No, I've tested it for a while…i cannot see any fixes, i think it's repacked oficial rom from april maybe some fixes in chinese apps, nothing interesting anyway. But maybe i'm wrong…
There are actually some bugs, e.g. battery indication is really broken and does not update realtime.
Updates randomly after restart of the phone, but I couldn't understand the pattern. Had it almost a day at 97% while I even tested some games to see if it will drop. First restart didn't change anything, then suddenly at after the next restart it went down to 65 and stayed there for a hell lot of time. So it's unusable. USB connection is also broken and I got some strange sudden power cuts out of the blue…
So it is not just me who had problems with the usb connection, it would work only if the phone was connected to the usb cable while being powered on or rebooted, or if you plugged the usb in short time after booting, otherwise the phone wouldn't react at all to the usb connection, and what's worse, it didn't even want to charge unless the cable was connected during boot or straight after booting…
Yes, I tested it for 2 days to see if I can update mine with this, but it is worse than S139, so I advice anyone stay with S139 or older.
Guys they will not update the phone on Android 4.2 ?
nooope
Maybe more sense hes porting ROM from A830? Drivers (or something else) for touch/display are incompatible, but what if one could implement/replace drivers from A820 drivers into this? (note – don't to try flash it "as is" into A820, this is custom android 4.2 for A830 and if You do it, You finish with working system but not working touch-display).

If someone knows what exactly breaks the touchscreen, then I'm open for discussion.
Haven't been able to solve this issue so far and it seems noone succeded yet, because there's no real JB4.2 for A820 that I'm aware of. Otherwise there are a lot of devices which are compatible with A820 and their roms run on our phones. I've personally ported 4-5 different versions from ZTE, Amoi and Lenov devices, but all of them mess up the touchscreen.
how do you install this???
can someone tell me how to install please?
