madOS is based on pure A.O.S.P. with many additional customizations and MediaTek support.

Installation Instructions:
Download ROM from M.A.D. Facebook
OR via xda DevDB
Download Gapps from OpenGapps
(choose Arm64 and Android 7.0 / Android 7.1 -Depending on the rom build you downloaded)
NOTE: Banks Gapps are reported to also work alright.
NOTE 2: If you have issues with OpenGapps / Banks , as an alternative try our modded OpenGapps package, and follow the instructions on FAQ.
No more need to use our Mod Gapps package
Boot to recovery
Wipe data if you are not coming from AOSP N already
Install rom
Reboot to recovery again, and Flash your desire Gapps

after installing and system reboot: after pin for sim: bootloop and displaying: app stopping. Only way to stop is removing battery and restoring backup.

wiped cache-dalvik-sytem-data-internal storage, reinstalled this rom and then worked. Indeed much smoother then MM and better for battery; BT not working is only minor point (but have this problem also with other 7.1 rom's)

try google pixel; running this rom a few weeks: very smooth and without problems; one very small minor point: 3g ok; 4g not available
