Install:
1) Download USB Auto Driver Installer v1.1352.00.rar. Install USB Drivers.
2) Shut down oukitel U8,remove SIM-card(s) and microSD memory card.
3) Download SP Flash Tool v5.1520.00.rar and run it.

erst mal toll das es hier ROM'S zum Download gibt. Leider funktioniert das mit der Installation so nicht. Es wird ein Fehler ausgegeben:
"PT changed, download first". (Als Abhilfe soll ich nicht "Download", sondern "Format all+Download" wählen)
Konnte bisher keine Infos finden ob das auch gefahrlos funktioniert.

I'm sorry. Thank you for provide the ROM. I try in Flashtool "Downlod", but it won't work. The message "PMT changed, Download first" appears.
I find out if you select "Firmware upgrade" the flash works successful.
Don't try ths ROM!!! It contains a system integrated Virus!!!
Don't install OTA updates V11 or V15 same Virus.
Try V9_20150606 from manufacturer
@schnappymg….i assume you are talking about that annoying redirection in browser?…or what kind of virus are you talking about?

I'm talking about a lot of bloadware and advertising mostly after unlock the Display.
Installing app's in the background (Recents) and change Systemsettings (aktivate "unknown sources")
Create shortcuts that look like the "PlayStore".
yeah i have the same problem …with redirecting to different web sites or even google play…from what i have read it is happenning to a lot of users who have different phones…so it could be another problem….what i have noticed to this versin is that the scanner recognition ha been improved a lot.
I have noticed also that the "Recents" apk is installed automaticaly….
with the latest update OTA….no redirection till now!

HI guys, I have the same problem with "recents" , annoying redirection in browser and all the other stuff.
I have a few questings and would be very thankfull for answering:
1) Does this V.17 ROM really solve the problems permantly?
2) Can I simly copy the file manually on my phone and install it via the phone? Or is it absolutly nessassary to do it with all the tools from above?
3) When I check with my phone for OTA updates it says I am already using the newes verson although I am using V.15.

yes the V17 solve the problems and yes it is nessassary to flash as "Firmware upgrade" .
You can also try first a hardreset ; then only connet to wifi and look for the ota update. Somtime it works.

I hope 'Recent' apps , fake play store icon and Unknown sources activated come back
