DESCRIPTION
This is an Android 5.1.1 ROM port for the Lenovo K3 Note.
Base ROM is the Jiayu S3 5.1.1 (RC1) ROM developed by superdragonpt and DerTeufel1980 of the XDA Forums and Jiayu.de forums.
Major changes:
- Full support for themes (via Layers: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lovejoy777.rroandlayersmanager )
- Revision of storage management
- Support of exFAT formatted SD card added
- Added outsource to SD card option Applications
- Some corrections storage paths
- Advanced Restart menu
- Power menu can be configured (screenshot and On-the-go mode can be added)
- Google Apps Improved
- Many translations added
- reused the original "Launcher3" with some new options
- Experimental features:
* Internet via LAN cable (by OTG and to network USB Adapter)
* Support from external cameras

Lol Layers support! Great, many thanks mate! Awesome rom, I will replace my current Androium 5 install with your ROM as Androium doesn’t support Layers themes.

It’s pretty much stock AOSP. There are enough screens.
1000 points more on Antutu? Really? You made me laugh bro, this is pretty subjective and yet ridiculous reason to deny a ROM. Now run the Antutu test twice on your lovely outdated Carbon and not only won't get a 46000 but less because of throttling.
Antutu gives consecutive scores over 46000 on Carbon v2. Furthermore xposed installer is working on Carbon unlike on Phoenix ROM .
i cant get the layers to work on this rom….help please
Did you try installing layers from the play store? After installing the Layer manager install layers/themes from play store too.
thanks for the response…. i installed the layers manager then installed 2 layers ….material glass and pitch black….. i went into layers manager and highlighted want i want then soft reboot and nothing…i den tried hard reboot and nothing……sometimes after reboot voice command error shows…….i tried layers on other roms and nothing… what am i doin wrong??? can anyone point me to a step by step tutorial for getting layers to work???????? ps i read somewhere that i should flash a file first??
Nothing wrong dude, as for now there are no ROMs for K3 Note that support Layers theming for real. I didn't yet installed this ROM myself, but I was exited when the dev said it support Layers. Now it seems something in the code is broken…
Layers themes are apk files so you don't have to flash anything. These who told you that are noobs.
You can change only 1x layer theme, change 2nd theme no change theme anh every boot google services has stopped
no one told me… i read it in a xda forum…. now that u say no rom got layers working properly i'll stop trying…… might go back to cm12 since i can use material theme there… thanks for the help
Sadly this is the current situation bro.:/ No Layers themes for us for now… btw does the CM12.1 port for K3 Note features Theme Center and the main question: Does it work?
