DESCRIPTION
This is a Kitkat Custom ROM based on the newest stock-firmware from Doogee for devices since september 14. So it is for the newer camera revision and the backcamera is working perfectly.
I made a lot of changes as you can see it in this list:
- - ROM is fully rootet (with SuperSU installed)
- - ROM supports Init.d scripts
- - changed some icons in the statusbar for a fresh new look
- - remove the icon for the "noninserted simcard" if there is none inside
- - changed the wallpaper of the lockscreen and keyguard, and a few logos (for new email, sms, e.g.)
- - default launcher changed from stock to google-now launcher
- - newest Goggle Apps with meterial design (calender, messenger…)
- - new SMS/MMS-app with customizable wallpaper
- - contacts-app can now sort your contacts by surname
- - a lot build.prop tweaks to optimize touchscreen, lagfree, e.g
- - some Init.d scripts to improve performance
- - some GPS-Tweaks
Installation:
- 1. make a backup of your Nvram using the linked MTK_NVRAM_TOOL.ZIP, else you will lose your IMEI
- 2. make a FULL-WIPE (with dalvik-cache)
- 3. flash the ROM
- 4. restore your Nvram
- For autosyncronisation u have to activate it manually at Setting->data usage. Hit the menu button and activate it.
- For problems with Titanium Backup Restore flash the SuperSU in recovery.

Once installed, I reboot and it gives multiple “processes stopped working” errors and sim card isn’t readable. I know the only way to stop the errors is to have airplane mode on as this is a common issue with my phone and particular roms. I think this is due to the sim reader drivers? Are you able to fix it?
I used this ROM for a full day. The very first thing I noticed, is that in the app drawer, all icons were very "fuzzy," less distinct, not sharp if you understand me. Then, I started to install all of my apps, including my games. When I got to games that require acceleration, like Dead Space, the Play store informed me that this device is incompatible with it. I reverted to my more standard Kit Kat ROM, and the Play store installs Dead Space and it works. Combined with the fuzzy icons that I originally noticed, I suspect that something about video acceleration is broken with this ROM.
nice observation
i cant see any fuzzy logos but i dont know how the looked like before this rom ;o). So maybe it is a problem from the google now launcher. please try another launcher like apex e.g. and look if it is as fuzzy as before. for the problem with dead space: maybe it is a problem caused from the european playstore. take a look at this thread on XDA http://forum.xda-developers.co.....d.php?t=1996995 . Perheps it helps if you replace the playstore from this rom with this one from the thread. please report if the errors occour.

Hi, with this rom my camera autofocus doesnt work, i have the first revision of dg550, can you help me?
to make ur titanium baackup works, download supersu pro zip, flash it through CWM, reboot ut phone and go to supersu setting, untick mount space separation.
now opewn tittnium backup and do ur restoration.

Nice rom, but back camera not focusing (known problem on Kitkat roms). My DG550 is first revision. Yuu need to install 4.2.2 cam drivers into the rom
