* Added Umbrella Kernel fixed, with fastcharge and without 20% battery bug.
** The ROMs don't have the last Umbrella Kernel, it is recommended to flash the last one.
MiUI v8 : 6.8.25
MiUI v7 : 6.5.30
* Flash via recovery
* First boot after install take very long time (7 ~ 10 min), wait patiently.
*** IMPORTANT: If you recieve some update (OTA), DO NOT UPDATE! because it is only compatible with Xiaomi Redmi Note 2, and our mobile could stop working. (In update settings, set manually only).
NOTES
*** If the speaker sound is low, enter in Engineering mode and set to 160 the parameter max.vol. in audio normal mode, and in loudspeaker mode.
MTK Engineering Mode supported
If you have some issues with the network, just consider to flash another Modem
It's recommended to set Developer Options: Windows animation scale, Transition animation scale and Animator duration scale to 0.5x

BUGS
* Camera HDR crash. (solvable with KK miuicamera apk, but i don't like it).
* Return from fly mode don't work.
* Sometimes screen goes black, need to cycle power button to reactivate
* High battery drain
* Second space not working
* Color problems in FullHD video recording
* usb MTP PC connection problems
* Front camera green effect on top (I haven't found a solution yet).

INSTALLATION
Method 1 (If you come from Xtreme ROM)
Copy the ROM into the external SDcard.
Go to TWRP 2.8.7.7 or 3.0.2
Wipe Dalvik Cache, System, Cache, Data & Internal Storage.
Install the ROM.
Method 2 (If you do not come from Xtreme ROM)
Flash Xtreme ROM 5.1 onto SP Flash Tool in Firmware Upgrade Mode
Copy the ROM into the external SDcard.
Go to TWRP 2.8.7.7 or 3.0.2
Wipe Dalvik Cache, System, Cache, Data & Internal Storage.
Install the ROM.

OK… After a day of use, here’s my opinion.
The ROM works very smooth and there are no apparent bugs.
But there were only two issues I found. One is the camera – there is a slight greenish hue, very noticeable in the front camera. But I don’t use the camera much and so, for me, it doesn’t matter much.
The second issue is the heating. The phone heats up quickly even while performing small tasks. Once I had to wipe cache and dalvik cache from recovery. While the phone was booting and initializing/optimizing, the top part of the phone (around the camera area), got very hot. I doubt I’ll be able to play any games in the mobile.
Other than that, the ROM seems to be good enough for basic daily use.

Any other oppinion on this ROM? Does the phone remain rooted after flashing the new ROM? How is the battery life? Does it have fast charge? How is GPS and wi-fi? Thanks.
Pretty smooth rom and one of the best, if not the best port here for this device. I haven't found any bugs yet, two thumbs-up

Thanks for sharing. After testing for a few hours, everything is alright so far except the built in themes app. When i logged in the app, all the pictures can not preview and online themes failed to download. I even tryed import the MIUI7 themes with .mtz format from my sd card,it still failed.
Can you fix for that? Many thanks!
I fixed it out today. Looks like it is a permission issue in the folder /MIUI which i can not create files in. After deleting it and recreate with the same name, the themes app went back to normal.

Beautiful MIUI theme loading failure cannot download, camera flash overexposed, middle slant green camera, power consumption speed is fast and can't support fast rushed and charging time long, hall sensor failure, the other is very good! Is a very useful ROM.

Yes, there are some bugs in this ROM. You can have fast charge with Stock Kernel and take 2 hours and a half more or less to charge completely.

The ROM 6.5.5 works similar to 6.2.29, same bugs, but now is possible to see preview images on themes app.
Thanks for the 6.5.5 update. This one seems to work better. I think I’ll use this as my daily driver.
I met a front-facing camera photo after photo about inversion. I wonder if the new will also have this bug, thanks for your efforts and hard work, the ROM is very good.
