THL 5000 Custom Rom v1.1.0 (iv2012)
I found this interesting ROM on the russian forum, the original author nickname is iv2012 or Dimid (see below to his pages on russian forum). This is a very sensitive adjustment of the original THL ROM 1.1.0. ROM is ROOTed, GAPPS are included, has multilanguage support (default installation in english), everything works fine. I only slightly modified it, set default language to English, removed the annoying startup sounds and added a few good apps.

* Translated settings menu, dialer, anti-thief, gestures
* Removed the large icons G in the notificstion bar
* Graphical dialer buttons
* Terminate button moved down
* Updated all Google Apps
* The default setting is enabled from unknown sources
* Default on display % battery
* Added security and startup manager
* Chinese program font is replaced.
* Modified Trebuchet Launcher
* Disabled by default search string
* The maximum size of MMS increased to 1 MB
* Removed restriction on the number SMS
* Disabled forced conversion of SMS to an MMS
Small changes by me:
* Default installation in english
* Removed boot sound
* Added some usefull applications (Smart keyboard, Weather, Titanium Backup and more..)
* Added Xpossed framework (can install Gravity Box KK)
How to install:
- if you haven't it, install TWRP, instructions here, sorry in slovak language only (use Google translator)

- Copy to SD card: ZIP ROM and ZIP Power profile Fix
- Jump to the TWRP recovery
- Click the Wipe, drag the "Swipe to Facory Reset", then click the "Back" button below the Back (right below the screen), you will find yourself in the main menu TWRP
- Click on Install, find the ROM's installation file, select it and drag the "Swipe to Install"
- Click the Back button (right below the screen), return to the main menu TWRP
- Click on Install and just install "Power profile.zip"
- Click the "Restart System"
- Done
- If you want open Xpossed installer icon, install and activate "Gravity Box KK" or other modules. Gravity Box will allow you setup many wonderful phone custom settings.
To extend battery life, try to install the Lenovo Power 2.6.210.apk - http://uloz.to/xRWacZnZ/lenovopower-2-6-210-140729-dcd0a5d-apk
For me this application appreciably prolong battery life. Of course it also depends on how you work with your phone. Run application, go to setup page (slide from left to right on main screen) and switch Power saving engine to ON and Smart endurance to ON. Do not enable "Power saving" or "Optimize" button on main screen (it will disable background application and synchronization).
ROM patchs (install it from TWRP):
Boot_Uboot_111.zip - corrects gamma 1.2, on the new displays. After applying get gamma 2.0.
Power profile patch sets the correct battery capacity and power consumption of individual components. The LED will blink red, reporting on the discharge by 5%. I recommend install this patch.

I have another few question because i can’t find a answer on the weg..
1. what is the “Leather Pattern” Option in the Display Settings?
2. For Viper4Android: Do i have to enable it somewhere besides inside the App? I read often about Android Settings -> Sound, but i only have Settings -> Audio Profiles. The both drivers (FX and xHifi) are both installed and driver status says enabled and supported.
3. I used TWRP 2.7.1.0 by SevenMaxs, is this legit too? Your TWRP looks a bit different (colors etc.)
4. The Advanced PowerMenu from GravityBox doesn’t collide with the predefined one?
I updated Busybox with Stericson, changed Launcher to Nova and updated many Files via Apps (SD-Card write Permissions fixed, Timezone updated, NTP-Server Country fixed etc.) I also removed the Live Wallpapers and froze many apps replaced by custom ones (VLC for VideoPlayer, Textsecure for SMS etc.)
I do this for every ROM i flash and your work seems to be the greatest and cleanest base i found ’till now
My Goal is to keep my Android as simple, clean, updated and customized as possible.
I like the App Permission Central very much!
Some Tipps for others:
- For faster window transition and animations, just disable the the “drawers” in the Developeroptions (From 1x to Off)
- Get AdAway from the F-Droid Market (It blocks most (if not all) ADs, even inside APPs)
OH! Before i forget: The first time i flashed my THL5000 the IMEIs were deleted.. i took me some time to figure out to restore them.

Hmmm, i can't find the "drawers" option on the devolopers menu. I'm running 1.10. Am i missing something?
If you install exactly according to my instructions, there is no possible to lose IMEI code…

One Question left considering Viper.. I froze the MusicFX System App, am I right with my assumption that Viper makes it obsolete? Again.. I don’t have Settings -> Sound to change or set a standard
Hi guys, I find like the original v1.10 firmware that my internet is very slow compared to v1.0.9, that includes chrome, Google play, anything that uses internet connection
I do like this ROM, but can’t bear the slow internet
Any suggestions??
On this ROM internet work normaly. I haven't problems with speed. In this ROM Google Play is. Chrome and other apps you can downlaod from Google Play. Whant is problem?

No on this ROM and the original the internet connection is very much slower than v1.0.9, I have tried this and the original and reverted back to the v1.0.9 every time, when I open even Facebook, loading pictures or videos takes to long to open I lose interest, so there is a n issue with I yerenet,
rbarat you should try, internet on 1.0.9 is instant, not like on this Rom and others based on v1.10

still not happy with internet speed compared to stock rom on any of the modded roms so think will stick with my original rom,
accessing web pages is instant on my rom, but a major lag on all other roms, like it waits way to long to open web pages this is also apparent in facebook loading images and videos, also loading images on play store, not good at allguys, wish i could upgrade but to many small issues like that will stop me, as internet speed is top of my list im afraid
