Hello friends, I need a little help here. My old was a smartphone MTK6573 and before updating the ROM I needed to change the recovery. The tutorials I saw was not to change the recovery before updating the ROM and do not install drivers. Is that right? Has some step-by-step to make no mistake when updating my smartphone? thank you very much

And you have to fix it again! Signal is very week, loosing more often…
Hello guys, Please am from Nigeria in West Africa, I just got this phone last week from online store.. aliexpress. Its very good and smart indeed. But it has low sound volume (as in playing music.. the volume is too low). I checked online and they said by upgrading/updating the firmware you can improve the phone capacities. When I came here I saw the phone firmware which have downloaded now. Please I checked my phone to compare with the one that shows here. Here it shows:

Guys I have an N9500, just 3 days old, and I have rooted it using motochopper and pdanet. Now I need to flash a recovery. Can someone suggest a compatible one and the flashing method? Thanks.

I'm also getting "unexpected end pf archive" trying to unrar N9500-V2 (update CWM)
@mickrick: Download again, "unexpected end pf archive" indicates a download error. This ROM (N9500-V2) is the same ROM as you have on your phone, except it has CWM integrated. Follow the instructions and install using the SP flash tool. HTH
@Spemm , the procedure for fix gps is for hardware or after fix it work only with a gps!
Are we going to be able to have a Touchwiz Rom? That would be awesome and im currently working on one right now. Ill probably be done with it in a week

helo Always make sure that you trust the sources of the ROM you download and know that it is meant for your phone. After flashing a wrong preloader, your phone will be completely dead (can’t be powered on, it will not charge and won’t be detected anymore by the computer) and there is no way to recover it.
