copy this MT6589-SupperRoot-by-ydss.cn.zip to you EXTERNAL sd card and now reboot recovery…..
now in your custom recovery you can root your device, now,… be advice this recovery is inchinesse but it is very user friendly, so now in the recovery press the first left buttom, it will display the content in your external sd card, since this is touch recovery just scroll down until you find your MT6589-SupperRoot-by-ydss.cn.zip then click it, it will appear a menu and at the bottom a bar like unlock screen in android, just slide it from left to rigth that will install the superRoot and root explorer, after that just reboot your phone with the rigth key on screen and voila!! you now have your phone rooted
SOORY I FORGOT TO TELL YOU INSIDE THE FOLDER COMES CUSTOM RECOVERY, SCATTER FILE AND SP FLASH TOOL YOU FIRST NEED TO FLASH CUSTOM RECOVERY WITH SP FLASH TOOL, THEN YOU HAVE TO CONTINUE WITH THE STEPS TO ROOT, THANKS

hi, i cant root the device following the steps. when i press ( power+volume up+home) button, it show a fall down robot.. i pressed back key it still show the screen like shown.. but nothing happen when i choose (apply fron the cache) … pls help.. tq

I'm having trouble with my carkits using bluetooth. The sound quality it terrible. The people I call are complaining about the quality. It's robotic and almost impossible to understand what I'm saying.
I've tested this with several carkits, but it's the same in every car. That's why I thought the phone (also a N9589) was broken, so I bought a new one. But guess what…? The new one (again a N9589) has exactly the same problem.
No problems using A2DP, strange
I also have a N9588, this phone has no problems using my carkit.
Does anyone recognize this problem, or better yet: Know the solution? I'm quite desperate.
