Hi, this is my custom rom for w100 based on 130711
Hope do you like it, advice are welcome, donations too 
this rom is probably not perfect, but it will be also due to your help!

If you haven't installed CWM:
Download recovery_barry.rar
Follow the guide inside that i wrote. Thanks to BARRY for his CWM (From androidiani)
You can also start with clean rom, see here: https://www.needrom.com/mobile/thl-w100/
If you have problem with cam:
INSTALL clean rom with flash tools from the link above
Install recovery_barry from here (DO NOT INSTALL another recovery!)

About this rom:
Deodexed
Zipaligned
Rooted
Various tweak (tested! not all tweaks on web work well on w100)
Enabled SIP VOIP
LOCKSCREEN now WITHOUT the orrible image! now show your launcher background
Camera is a bit better
Updated google apps (maps, gmail), replaced browser with AOSP browser (work better, more functions)
Replaced Music with Google Music
Removed some bloatware (not all, i will clean well on the next update)
GPS IS perfect, follow the little guide below
Removed camera sound, boot sound
Installed tether patch by ERVIUS (from Androidiani) now tether work with all operators. THANK YOU ERVIUS!
Improved Brightness, expecially for low light (on night you do not risk to become blind XD )
Added xPosed and gravityBox (not enabled by default)
Added my app: Ringtone Fixer (when you remove SDCARD or reboot you don't risk to find default ringtone set.)
Enabled rotation on launcher and lockscreen
The build-in CD-Rom that you can see connecting USB now contain also ADB DRIVER and PRELOADER driver
And much more!

ABOUT GPS:
gps is perfect, but on first boot you need to:
go onsettings->Location access
Enable Wifi & mobile network location
Click over "GPS SATELLITIES", enable GPS EPO Assistance and A-GPS
Click over EPO Setting and enable "Auto download"
Go back, open A-GPS Settings and enable Network request
DONE! Open google maps and see the dot over your head XD

Stef, with my original ROM (v 130529) the tap to focus is only available for the back camera. For the front camera the tap to focus is not available.
This rom does not solve the GPS problem. The only GPS problem the W100 has is a distance measurement problem that all the MTK6579 do. I tested with endomondo and runtastic, both have the same problem with this rom or the stock rom.
This room also adds a purple diffuse efect on the rear camera. Also, it adds a delay in the lock screen.
No major improvements from the stock rom.
Hi, as angotodurache say the problem is related to the application. the gps emprove his fix time with this rom.
i forgot:
about lockscreen you're right, i hate this delay and the next version i'll remove rotation.
And, about purple effect: have you installed my rom over 1305xx rom? i'm investigating about this problem, btw you can install the patch above.
I hope the next release would better suit your needs. thanks for advices.
damiankitai, the GPS problem that you have noticed i think it's related to the application itself. i have tried also runtastic (i am a runtastic user) and i have seen the problem reported by you. Also i am a SportyPal user and SportyPal does not have this problem and it's reporting the distance properly.
Hello, thank you for sharing your ROM. I have downloaded and installed it however now I have "Invalid IMEI". I have tried to restore with MTK Droid Tools and IMEI CMD Tool but still no luck

hi, hhave yo uinstalled my rom over 1305xx version?
You can use flashtools, install all, this will reset your phone ( you lost also sdcard internal content, make a backup) and recover also your phone problem.
Thanks for the reply. I installed it over 010713 ROM. I've tried reflashing 010713 and even 110713 ROM but still IMEI invalid? Do you know of any IMEI restore methods? Like I say I've tried Engineer Mode, MTK Droid Tools, ADB, copying MP0B_001 but still not joy? What about Upgrade or Format options in SP Flashtools?

upgrade tool is useless for what you are looking for, the best is the "normal" way, that override all.

Keyboard is the same of thl rom(android default)
Tried to install your CWM Barry… it flashed fine, green circle etc. but i vol down+power and it opens factory mode with chinese recovery o.O?

Hi Stef, Thank you for sharing your nice ROM. I've got a question: is there a way to disable the rotation of the lockscreen? It's annoying…
You just have to disable Auto-Rotation trigger in
Setting > Display > Auto-Rotate screen
or
Swipe down notification bar and press the most upper right of notification page, now you will see trigger menu. find and disable AUTO ROTATION
I hatelockscreen rotation and in the next release will be definitely off!
