Well actually the same thing happened to me, no Gapps were present when I first installed the ROM (the 10/11/2013 update). I found all needed Gapps and Google services on the App store that came installed with the ROM (it's a Chinese app but recognizes English app names too). I'm not sure root is present though. I mean all apps that require root say the phone is not rooted. Should I install something to make root work?
