Install ROM :
CWM EN
1) Download the custom ROM copied to an external SD card root directory
2) Download the recovery.img ( put in your SD card )
3) Start MobileUncle Tools ( Download on Goolge play or other maybe not google play )
4) Select Update Recovery ( choose recovery.img )
5) Mobile reboot in CWM and follow the instructions( if recovery is in chinese look tutorial "CWM for MTK Platform" )
Into the recovery:
– Wipe Data / Factory Reset -> delete all user data
– Wipe Cache Partition -> Wipe cache
- Advanced -> Wipe Dalvik Cache
- Return to recovery main interface Install zip from sdcard -> choose zip from sdcard -> Select your ROM
- Brush complete, restart the phone Patience required – first boot takes a while

IMO the installation instructions for this ROM are completely useless. The TCL S950 doesn't support an external SD card therefore the only way to install this ROM is with Android SDK using ADB. I have spent about 3 hours trying to install this with no success. If anyone knows how to do it I would appreciate help.
I managed to install the ROM following the instructions provided. If you have the TCL S950, be sure you put the recovery.img and ROM into your phones root directory of the internal memory. If you have the Alcatel version (with external SDHC) you can probably put it on a card instead.
When you install the new ROM be sure to use the provided recovery. The stock recovery will fail when trying to install the new ROM.
Overall this ROM runs great! GPS, compass and compass/GPS in google maps works well. The camera quality seems slightly better than the stock rom. Gapps are included in this rom, however google play store is not installed so, at first it appeared google framework was not supported (thankfully it is!). I installed play store by using the Chinese app market application that is preinstalled.
The rom is quick and smooth 80% of the time, but sometimes it stutters between screen transitions.
So far I haven’t had a single problem with this rom as it seems very stable and has good compatibility with every app I have tried.

After installing this ROM, my phone stuck at lewa boot logo. The only recovery option seems like using TCL rom update software. But by doing so, all my data is lost.
where /what is root directory? This phone not have sd card, Only built in. Where i put files ?
Hello, I flashed this ROM into my Alcatel OT Idol X, but it asks me for unlocking SIM card by SIM ME code. Any idea how to get rid of this?
