Installing S with TWRP 2.6.3 gives me the following error:
symlink: some symlinks failed
E:Error executing updater binary in zip '/sdcard/T100S-S.zip'

Phone keeps hanging on boot logo, so I assume it has no OS at the moment. Will try again.
Tried it again. Now successful, sort of.
dowload it now and try again .Good luck
I give you my TWRP without problems,copy to internal SD and run mobileuncle tools and chouse Recovery Update
I have installed km but nova 3 closes itself
Before I started flashing a new ROM I experimented with TouchWiz launcher and framwork resources on my T100S. For some reason I can't get rid of the Samsung icons anymore. I have flashed my phone 4 times now, 2x with KM and 2x with the S version, but I always end up with the Samsung icons instead of the original. So it looks like they are stored somewhere outside the system directory, but can't figure out where. Look at the attached pictures to see what I mean. This is the S version of the ROM without me changing anything to the launcher or icons.
How can I get the original icons back?
Retseem, those printscreens have original icons allready. They are like in my thl and other users.
If i just understood your question wrong, just try every wipe in twrp, and everything will get allright.

Just like to know which icons I should see, because to me it looks like my flash is not 100% complete because something could not be overwritten.
Also System Tuner Pro complained about some reduced functionality after installation. It was complaining about some vendor security stuff and that not everything was writable.
For the time being I installed the Unicon xposed module and changed all icons system-wide to MIUI.

Hi Bader, im using your KM since you put it out and until now everything is running perfect. Just some overheat, but this last days were 25/30ºC here, so i cant be sure, if its all the phone or not
I want to know if its worth to change to S-S, and start testing it. Im asking you and the other users. People, give feedback about S-S plz! Thanks!

I am realy impressed what kind of changes you can do in every new Rom you make public. Great job. I have the new one now and it works great.
One question.. is there a chance to make a small programm for change the CPU and gpu frequenz by every user? Will we nice. Or can you tell us where we can change in zip file the frequenz for testing? Thanks a lot again for your work.
download romtoolbox and chenge the cpu frequency from there.personally i put the freq at 1248 and played kritika(very heavy game) and the temperature was at 60-64 celcius,before that was at 69-72…
Sure… I like to change the freuqenz not to a lower value. I like to change step by step to a higher value for gpu and cpu.
I only like to know where I can do this in the ROM. In which file I can change some values ?
Thanks for your reply DeAdLeSs. I was not sure anymore about which were original for THL and I would expect either MIUI icons or standard JB icons like in the pic below.
That icons are from kitkat, use nova launcher and change icons to kitkat
I have installed Apex launcher and the xposed module Unicon and changed all icons system-wide to MIUI.
S over KM scores about 150 points better in Antutu and I found the WiFi signal a little better, probably as good as it can get on a MediaTek SOC. I like the Chinese phones for their specs, price and dual SIM, but the mediatek SOC is just not good enough. GPS is soso, Compass is not reliable very often and WiFi signals are far below par. I had 4 China phones since February.
ZOPO 998: Compass never worked well, GPS worked after a ton of patches, but still mediocre, WiFi sucked, half of the touch panel died within 3 weeks.
THL T100S: Bader is doing a great job, but I don't think GPS, compass and WiFi won't get much better. I have to live with it.
Doogee Turbo 2014 for my wife: Everything worked out of the box, no other ROM needed, but of course not very high signals. This one fell in water, so died.

So I'm almost done with MediaTek, so now I'm going to try a different Chinese brand. I ordered 2 ZTE Nubia Z7 minis, arrived a few days ago. This phone has the Snapdragon 801, OMG I'm so happy with it, a high end phone with dual SIM and a good chip. WiFi signal maxes out at 100% where I hardly get any signal, 25 to 50%, with any Mediatek.
you are comparing a 190€ device with a 420€ device btw.
Not €190,- vs €420,-. I paid about €200 for the THL T100s when it came out, and bought the Nubia Z7 mini for €230,-, so now it would be €190 vs €230.
what is the difference with km rom e s-s rom?
some fix to wifi and Gps
