Download and Install correctly Mediatek Preloader drivers before using Flashtool
( Take care on Windows 8.1/10 drivers, you need to disable driver signature before install:)

1- With flashtool load MT6753_Android_Scatter.txt
2- Select download and connect smartphone to pc (smartphone must be powered off)… in few seconds will start the process and the new TWRP will be flashed
P.S after flashing, enter immediately in TWRP at boot using POWER and VOL + keys at the same time untile Logo
answer Yes to the request of system files modify (if not the script will revert back to stock recovery after boot again)

And you have the Oukitel K6000 PRO or the Oukitel K6000? I have the "pro" (Back-Camera in the middle). It's on V8 I have buy on 14. July 16. I don't know about Version 12. MegTheBest built the TWRP for us, and it works great. The question is: why you have an V12 Version

I have reveived my oukitel k6000 pro yesterday (the 05 august)
But me to i have the new version of the firmware for my Oukitel K6000 pro : N° of build : OUKITEL_K6000_Pro_V12_20160711.
Maybe someone have a solution to have TWRP for this build?

No, it is not Android N, it is Android 6, even not 6.0.1.
6.0 and 6.01 are so similar, it is almost the same soft (http://www.gottabemobile.com/2.....date-whats-new/). Anyway, Your version is strange – and this is a problem IMO. BTW i send question to oukitel team – i wonder what they answer me….
Does not work unfortunately. I also have the newer v12 version of the stock rom when in bought the phone. this twrp build does not run after flashing. i only get the android robot lying down with the exclamation mark when i try to enter recovery with adb reboot recovery, and when i try to use the buttons i can't enter recovery at all. i afterwards tried to downgrade the firmware to an older rom version that can be flashed with this twrp and i totally bricked my phone. only backlit after flashing, no response anymore, no oukitel logo, no recovery, no boot. as if the boot partition or whatever has been gone. tried to flash several rom versions found here, always the same. the phone is dead now
thinking of bying another one, but only if twrp and root works, i really need twrp and root. megthebest, can you update twrp for this v12 version or can you tell us how to build twrp for ourselves when a new rom version comes out?

another question: why does every new android build of this phone need a new twrp build? what changes from android build to android build for this phone?

Will be the first time rooting/flashing my phone, so I have some open questions before I start.
How do you guys backup everything before starting? There is so much information on the internet so I am curious what works best on my beloved china-phone
Do I need to root my Oukitel before doing what I am told in the description here or is this description working right from my stock phone?
Thanks for support & sorry for beeing kinda noobish here. as I have no spare phone I just want to make sure not to need to wait for a new ouktiel for some more weeks because of foolishly bricking this one!
