1- With flashtool load MT6753_Android_Scatter.txt
2- Select download and connect smartphone to pc (smartphone must be powered off)… in few seconds will start the process and the new TWRP will be flashed
P.S after flashing, enter immediately in TWRP at boot using POWER and VOL + keys at the same time untile Logo
answer Yes to the request of system files modify (if not the script will revert back to stock recovery after boot again)

I used SU v2.71 and it updated through the Play store.
It's rooted and working very well now. Xposed Framework installed without too many problems in TWRP recovery mode.

Hello guys, i have a queston.
I have installed Twrp custom recovery on another phone (Lenovo K3 Note) with Sp Flash tool, but with my Oukitel K6000 Pro i have a problem, i install all the drivesrs and when the phone is on, it works fine and it is recognized from the pc, but when i turn it off to flash the recovery.img i conect it to the pc and i press Download and nothing happens. I suppose that pc can't find my phone when it's off, what can i do? can someone help me please ??

Can someone help me on this..one of apps which is droid vpn didn’t detect the root even though my oukitel already rooted. Others apps doing ok with root. It’s just did not automatically prompt for droid vpn..can someone try this apps?
Is there a process for these phones when bricked? Just got phone today and had all kinds of rom / dram start_cmd error, brom error with several different error codes from flash tool and the result is a dead phone with a black screen. I'm convinced these windows drivers do not work on win 7 64. Tried two different machines and they both end up a mess with mediatek device being absent from device manager having been there initially.

Droid phones from years ago never used to be this much aggravation to root and I've never bricked one of the half a dozen previously owned HTC and Samsung phones.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated or this barely out of its wrapper phone is dead and buried and it's back to the loathsome iphone.
Ok I was able to get it working in the end by using olegfaza's (thanks a lot!) recommendation of stock v7 flash.
However I've managed to lose my IMEI numbers which seems reported elsewhere in google with these phones. Any solutions welcome thanks.

Forgot to add I reflashed just recovery and was able to get into twrp and root device.
Having no luck here. Maybe this phone is a dud. It also now thinks it’s on charge when it isn’t.

Has anybody been able to fix the invalid IMEI problem that can appear after rom / firmware flash with spflashtools?
It seems to me this is not possible without a backup of nvram, (which I don't have) as I had to completely flatten it to get booting and flashed again which resolved the battery problem.
Here's what doesn't work trying to fix IMEI for the last 24 hours:
1. Every app in the playstore that claims to do it. (chamlephon, xposed IMEI changer etc).
2. Every youtube video regarding typing in codes to get to engineering mode — it gets that far, but there is no "CDS Information" under connectivity.
3. MTK droid tools / Spda+ / ADB usb cable will not detect phone. It half detected it one time, but would not list IMEI info and crapped out as it was cycling through red / blue progress bar,
4. Maui Meta looked the most promising, but I think the precise reason I have no IMEI, (corrupted nvram) is the same reason this did not work, (I cannot get into meta mode with no amount of key combos / no keys at all. The phone simply will not go in to meta mode where maui meta allow me could to enter the IMEI's off the back of the phone.
5. I dont believe it is driver issues as the same machine can spflash firmware / full rom download scatter etc, co but I just end up with buggered IMEI that cannot be changed.
If someone could chime in with experience of success in the same positon that would be great. Alternately, putting me out of my misery by saying you don't have a hope in hell would be appreciated too — in order to to spare me anymore misery and days of sleepless nights fighting this like a fool without a hope in hell.
