Install ROM :
Install with SP MDT:
1). Turn off the smartphone. Cable is not connected to the computer.
2). Remove the battery and insert it again
3). Connect your phone to a computer cable. The operating system detects a new device
4). Disconnect the cable from the computer.
5). Run SPMultiPortFlashDownloadProject.exe
6). Choose File> Open File Agent download and specify the file MTK_AllInOneDA.bin (it is in the folder SP_MDT).
7). Click Scatter File and select the MT6735_Android_scatter.txt file (it's in the folder with the rom).
8). Click "Start all".
9). Connect your phone to a computer cable. The program should see and blink. If the phone is not detected, then unplug it from the computer,
remove and insert the battery (if the battery is removable) and reconnect it to the computer.
10). After (OK) click Stop and disable any phone.
11). Completed.
※Please make a backup of your device before installing or updating ROM

Hello, I'm not able to flash the new firmware, the SP Flash Tool doesn't start flashing the preloader ( as usual ), stuck at 0%, even if the driver is working fine. Tried with different PCs, o.s., but nothing to do…

Hey, I had the same problem. If the driver is properly installed you can do the following:
This device doesn't have a removable battery. So, the solution is here:
1. Power off the phone and make sure its NOT CONNECTED to the computer.
2. Press Download on SP Flash Tool, so it will wait for your device.
3. Connect your powered off device
4. WAIT! Worked for me! I love the new firmware because it fixes the google play problem and it gives you fast&fluid stock android experience.

The 4 steps you suggested are the tipical way to flash any MTK phone… I flashed so many phones in this way, it worked almost everytime for me, but with the UIMI U6 I'm not able to make the preloader to start downloading, the SPFT remains locked at 0%.
What is your configuration ? PC's Operative system, SPFT version, drivers version, and so on…

Finally…Successfully flashed !!! Only worked for me SPFlash Tool v.5.1628, other versions, nothing to do !
Now the new ROM runs fine, like a charm ! Google Play Store works and downloads go well, no more system errors… Now I have got a new good smartphone, a dream….
