Install ROM:
1) Download the custom ROM copied to an external SD card root directory
2) Download the recovery.img ( put in your SD card )
3) Start MobileUncle Tools ( Download on Goolge play )
4) Select Update Recovery ( choose recovery.img )
5) Mobile reboot in CWM and and follow the instructions( if recovery is in chinese look tutorial "CWM for MTK Platform" )
※Please make a backup of your device before installing or updating ROM
the rom seem similar to the last version. And now the ram is 600mb.. befare was 1000mb…
but I have always the same problem with the panel of display setting..that crasched every time.. so it is no posible to access at that panel..
also there will be more time to syncronize the gps.. and the module of wifi seem a little weak
I had the same problem with my Umix2. the wifi really low i needed to stay 6 m near the router to install apps. all the other mobile phones i have could connect in my room and all over my house but the umi cold not.
Hope the admin will update and make the rom's more fluid and modern.
I sent my phone back to umi because of the problem to my display, always black screen, or it kept turning of.
( Wish i get it back soon so i can try the new rom.
is the keyboard fully translated ? or half chines and half translation ?
Where do I get or find the recovery.img file? Please advise.
I have UMI X2, when boot into Manufacture Recovery there is no external SD Card selection available.
The only available storgae is the internal SD Card, in which any update from always error out. I would appreciate any direction or education information. Thanks
