ROM Mobile UMI X2 – ROM Android 4.2.1
Features ROM:
1, open WIFI, 3g network optimization, optimization of RF power, adding power-saving code, more energy-efficient;
2, add GPS files and optimize the code, enhanced GPS search speed;
3, the main issue has been optimized for the camera, the camera basically solved reddish problems and improve the image quality of vision;

Language support: Multilang
Install ROM:
1) Download the custom ROM copied to an external SD card root directory
2) Download the recovery.img ( put in your SD card )
3) Start MobileUncle Tools ( Download on Goolge play )
4) Select Update Recovery ( choose recovery.img )
5) Mobile reboot in CWM and and follow the instructions( if recovery is in chinese look tutorial "CWM for MTK Platform" )
In the recovery mode.
– Wipe Data / Factory Reset -> delete all user data
– Wipe Cache Partition -> Wipe cache
– Advanced -> Wipe Dalvik Cache
6) Return to recovery main interface Install zip from sdcard -> choose zip from sdcard -> Select your ROM
7) Brush complete, restart the phone Patience required – first boot takes a while
※Please make a backup of your device before installing or updating ROM

A mí tampoco me funciona. He renombrado el rar a zip y instalación abortada.

i installed this firmware. I dont like it – no GAPPS (incl. google play). I
You have to unrar and then zip files, but you have to put files in zip archive directly, and not in folder "umi_x2-20130701". This ROM comes without GAPPS, but rooted. You can install GAPPS from recovery. Link to JB GAPPS: http://d-h.st/Zam
ok…..fatto….ho capito il procedimento…allora:
1) aprire il file rar della rom scaricata ed estrarre su una cartella del desktop( es.nuova cartella) i 3 file della rom
2)selezionare tutti assieme i 3 file e con il tasto dx sceglire …. ad to archive
3) scegliere dove salvare l'archivio…(va bene anche all'interno della nuova cartella nel desktop) potete rinominarlo con il vostro nome
4)scegliere zip come tipo di compressione
5) uscira' un file compresso zip che potete rinominare come volete e inserirlo nella scheda sd!
