ROM Mobile UMI X2 – ROM Android 4.2.1
Features ROM:
Based on Vowney V5 S4UI
Gapps include – Rooted
Language support: Multilang
Install ROM:
1) Download the custom ROM copied to an external SD card root directory
2) Download the recovery.img ( put in your SD card )
3) Start MobileUncle Tools ( Download on Goolge play )
4) Select Update Recovery ( choose recovery.img )
5) Mobile reboot in CWM and and follow the instructions( if recovery is in chinese look tutorial "CWM for MTK Platform" )
In the recovery mode.
– Wipe Data / Factory Reset -> delete all user data
– Wipe Cache Partition -> Wipe cache
– Advanced -> Wipe Dalvik Cache
6) Return to recovery main interface Install zip from sdcard -> choose zip from sdcard -> Select your ROM
7) Brush complete, restart the phone Patience required – first boot takes a while
※Please make a backup of your device before installing or updating ROM
When i connect the phone in the computer with this rom the usb storage mode is not show. And its not rooted with superuser but with one chinese root that it dosent work.
Dear,If you after the clear installation rom and first boot,you have to put sign the usb debugging in settings and root process via this " shuameSetup_1.2.0_general.exe" programme.This is semi chinese semi english language but when you instal this program your pc and connect the phone by usb cable,all drivers will be installed and you will see the usb storage choosing in your phone menu.
the same problem as the previous person OGE identifies the computer

I sent the phone to china to be fixed, but it is returning defective, was said to my seller to correct the defect of my phone, I have to pay $ $ 100.00.
Iinstalled this rom and it was rooted.All of everthing is ok in this rom except GPS cause of i did not try this so it is not necessary GPS for me.It is great works so many hanks.
I liked the ROM. But I have one query. While making or receiving a call, I hear some calm music coming from the in-call earpiece. Why is that so? Is that inbuilt into this ROM? Any ideas on how to remove it. Even when in idle state and I increase the volume through volume rocker, I can hear the music at a louder volume. Please someone help.
I think,this music sound can be come from your GSM network or from calling number so i did not get any problem when i calling and answering.
On the other hand,it is so far probabilitiy but maybe your GSM radio frequencies can be interferred with your closing far (local radio station) radio station frequencies.
is This for VOTO X2 Turbo too?

Hi, I was trying to use Flash tool and Don't know what happend but My Phone is completely DEAD right now
even power button is also not working no screen is there (just blank phone).
I am having UMI X2 2GB rom, 32 gb internal memory, 1.5 GHZ (MT6589T) Model.
I tried to use SP Flash tool to recover my phone. Firstly I tried to format the phone, After that I tried to run the correct scatter file for MT6589 (from one of the ROM Posted under UMI-X2 here).
Drivers for the SP Flash tool is loaded correctly (into my Windows 8 Pc). I was previosly getting error as follow : SP FLASH TOOL ERROR: (8200)
[Platform Error] The load and target are inconsistent!
Now, after searching a lot I found that its something wrong with SP Flash tool version.
So I downloaded SP Flash Tool V3.1304.O.sn119 version. After that I am trying to "Download" the rom (with the correct scatter file for my ROM). but its only showing me RED Bar (with 100%) and after that it does nothing. Its neither showing me any error nor its continuing the process.
I am in serious problem here. Please help me out.

First off all no panic! Firstly,you have to find the correct divers for spflashtool otherwise the flashing process stand on red bar and rom can't be load correctly.If you can find correct drivers for your pc system ( windows 8 or windows 7) and you can flash the rom by spflashtool and your problem gonna be solved.
