ROM ZTE V760 – ROM Android 2.3.4 08/30/12
install rom V760:
– Style Android 4.0 – Ice Cream Sandwich!
– Format System in Mounts and Storage.
– Flash the ROM and reboot.
– wait for 5 mins
– Flash Gapps and reboot.
– Reboot and wait for 5 mins. Install install AOSP and through this but not coldfusion(when up) follow the method mentioned -root
-Flash the TPT
-Download the ROM from respective links
-Flash via CWM -dont forgot to wipe full -install GAPPS
ROOT:
install root.exe
click on button root your mobile will restart after doing nothing waiting.
and again click on root and your mobile will restart again
and normally after you're in root mode
Other method
change just the boot.img of the ROM
※Please make a backup of your device before installing or updating ROM
Okay, i managed to port CWM mode using these instructions here, http://chinagizmos.blogspot.co.....414565323560819 but CWM won't let me wipe data/factory reset, which is why i can't proceed.
I'm guessing you've encountered something like this..and is the reason you gave us the installation instructions. Please elaborate on the coz they aren't clear enough.

Don't waste your time. This ROM doesn't work !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@ katsam i also hav this warid phone but iam really fedup of using warid as data connection coz its the only one that goz to hsdp the rest of the networks are on edge.how did u root it

@willjohanz, Unfortunately rooting won't enable sim 2 access hspa. You need to unlock the phone so that you can insert the desired simcard into the sim 1 slot. I tried using codes to unlock the phone but failed.
Anyway, i rooted it easily using SuperOneClickv2.3.3- ShortFuse. Google around and you'll find it. Incase it fails, try v1.9.5. And incase you fail to find it, which is very unlikely, send me your email so that i can send the zip file to you. Good luck rooting.
P.S This phone is good but definitely not satisfactory for geeks. Btw, here's a tip, MTN's blade is now at 250k !!! A match better choice if you ask me.

Oh btw, there's a newer version of this phone on Orange and guess what, installing ICS is a breeze! A couple of extra bucks obviously .. but judging from the spec sheet, i'd say it worth a shot.

how you rooted this phone?!?!? superoneclick won't work, version 1.95 and 2.33 the same thing.. get's stuck on step 2
this smartphone has 2.3.6 installed.. to root it easily is needed 4.x -.-
this rom on my phone installs correctly but is android 2.3.4 (so this made a downgrade from 2.3.6 -.-) and not 4.0
