Do I use Mobileuncle for this? In play store mobile uncle tools is listed only to use for MTK based mobiles. The a580 has a Snapdragon MSM7227A?

no dont use mobile uncle. I tried it and it needs root to work. so its pointless. flashing the recovery img also dont work. i found a tutorial but its chinese and you need to join the site just to read it though.
I'm on windows 7 32 btw. dont know about xp. nut the batch file does not work right on mine

I rooted phone, i can go into recovery mode but i dont know how to install rom,
should i connect it in brush mode and run exe (with mobile uncle icon)
