ROM Install :
- Unpack FlashTools, and Click on Flash_tool.exe
- Select "scatter-Loading" and search MT6580_Android_scatter.txt in ROM
- Wait file to be added into Flash Tool
- Select "Download Only" or if upgrade "Firmware upgrade"
- Turn off your phone, remove the battery (if the battery is removable) and replace it after some seconds (and don't turn on the phone).
- Press “Download” button to start
- and connect your phone into the computer via USB data cable.
- The process will start and a red progress bar will appear after color purple, yellow.
- And green circles display
- Finish !
- You can now safely disconnect your phone and turn it on.

For root use kingroot. Works fine with 5.1 os.
My device has OTA updated to V101_HD_L1_LANTIANXIN_C93A_PICASSO+20160412-1932 and it's not rootable with kingroot. What version have you successfully rooted with kingroot? And have you been able to OTA update from this version and keep root?
Does anyone know what the difference is between ROM1 and ROM2 ?
My guess would be that ROM1 contains more pre-installed software as it's significantly larger than ROM2.
Succesfuly roted V101_HD_L1_LANTIANXIN_C93A_PICASSO+20160412-1932 with Kingroot (not Kingo Root!)

yes, root works fine with KINGROOT. but you loose the OTA updates with the root…
Mine says : "your-system-was-damaged-wireless-update-is-disabled" So I can't get the new release : V101_HD_V2.1_20160427
And with the unroot of Kingroot, it is the same !! What can I do to get the latest firmware releases ?
Do you expect to put the V101_HD_V2.1_20160427 here so I can download it and try by the local way ??
Are you tried to install what kind of rom of this page and then update with OTA?
Strange, i cant unpack 1.1.2 rom. Winrar hangs on sistem.img file.
ROM 1 support OTA. ROM 2 doesn't support OTA.

W/o driver for mt6280 you can't flash it properly.
Avalible OTA 1.1.6. Camera still blury. Too bad Bluboo.
