Install ROM:

- Unpack FlashTools, and Click on Flash_tool.exe
- Select a the MT6589_Android_scatter_emmc.txt in ROM
- Wait file to be added into Flash Tool
- choose Option->USB Model,click USB Model
–> Choose Option->DA DownLoad All->Speed->High Speed, click High Speed
- Turn off your phone, remove the battery.

- "Press F9 (hit Download button)" OR " if upgrade ROM Firmware->Upgrade "
- and connect your phone into the computer via USB data cable.
- The process will start and a red progress bar will appear after color purple, yellow.
- And green circles display
- Finish !

- You can now safely disconnect your phone and turn it on.

Update with file update.zip

  In order to fix that:
  Open update.zip with zip extractor. Do not extract, just open it. Find updater-script inside meta-inf folder, open it and remove those thl getprop checks in the beginning. Save. Flash in cwm.

Not geat at all. The phone is great for his value, but this rom isn't at all!
It is possible to root, but isn't rooted.
If you want to make development on this phone your logcat will be full of "Unexpected value from nativeGetEnabledTags: 0" warning messages, because of 4.2.1 android or whatever, but on 4.3 is fixed, but no rom with 4.3 yet.
I have 2x bloatware: Twidroid Pro. Something related with twitter, I think, but I don't use.
And a chinesse application text with a mile icon just like this
So full of errors and 2 don't know what.
As is THL site news section is: to fix the gps needed to use a rooted phone, for unble mobile + edit a file.

This rom is like an official one, whatever. I had the LogCat full of error, because of android 4.2.1
I have installed the THL W8s (Sony S-Heart) 4.2.2 from http://forum.xda-developers.co.....d.php?t=2439686. I have escaped from "Unexpected value from nativeGetEnabledTags: 0" spam, now I have some others: SuperStamina-NativeDaemonConnector Error in NativeDaemonConnector: java.io.IOException: No such file or directory
It is only my oppinion, but that launcher is a bit nicer. Oh and that is rooted.
I will test a few days, but I am almost sure I will not come back to this ROM if other has stability.
