Install ROM:

- Unpack FlashTools, and Click on Flash_tool.exe
- Select a the MT6589_Android_scatter_emmc.txt in ROM
- Wait file to be added into Flash Tool
- choose Option->USB Model,click USB Model
–> Choose Option->DA DownLoad All->Speed->High Speed, click High Speed
- Turn off your phone, remove the battery.

- "Press F9 (hit Download button)" OR " if upgrade ROM Firmware->Upgrade "
- and connect your phone into the computer via USB data cable.
- The process will start and a red progress bar will appear after color purple, yellow.
- And green circles display
- Finish !

- You can now safely disconnect your phone and turn it on.

Update with file update.zip

  Secro,Userdata and Cache Image are missing.
  
  So after flashing via Flashtool my previous apps and data is still there. 20131009 is rooted and come with SuperUser so it may conflict with your previous SU app.
  
  After flashing, the device seems OK. i'm not sure that the spontaneous wake up in 20130923 is fix or not. i will test and report soon.

  I meant the flash tool wil not flash. It keeps saying please check all firmware images to flash. So i flashed it with the Secro,Userdata and Cache Image from the 1.04 Firmware.

my mistake. there is no Secro,Userdata and Cache Image, so all DATA will stay.

still WAZE won't work with this device. gps signal keep getting disconnected with WAZE

Hi,

My THL W8s as now the last firmware but my bluetooth problem is stil there.

When calling away with the SIM set to 3G connection over Bluetooth carkit or headset the Mic is disformed (robot) but i can hear other side just fine.
On hang up both sims lose connection and regain it after searching.

Does anyone has this problem?

Please, help!

  Hi, same problem here with bluetooth. In addition, I can't use my card reader to let my customer make payments.
