DESCRIPTION
Try my new take on marshmallow for w200s! I proudly present AICP 6.0.1 for the w200s with compatible screens! Every single bug(front camera, gps, fm radio, all sensors, stable network, no overheating) FIXED! Installation instructions:
1. Install this rom with spflashtools: https://www.needrom.com/download/w200s_kk_by-t3/ . If this rom does not work on your device, then my rom wont work either. The kernel is based on that rom, to have everything working(including front camera!)
2. Flash CWM (you can use spflashtools, just change the path for the recovery).
3. Copy Reformat.zip to an external sd card, boot in cwm and flash it. This will repartition your storage to be a big 27 gb data partition. CWM will reboot, and run the created format.zip from sdcard, and then format both data and sdcard partitions from CWM.
4. Reboot into system and verify the partition layout is correct. If it is not, repeat the last step.
5. Flash TWRP3 ( you can use flashtools for this as well).
6. Copy aicp.zip to an external sdcard, reboot in twrp, wipe everything(system,cache,data), format data, then go to mounts and untick everything except the micro sdcard.
7. Flash aicp.zip.
8. Reboot and enjoy.
If you are at resurrection remix, just boot in recovery, wipe system,data,cache ,flash aicp.zip and reboot.
Gapps,Viper4android,Cameranext,Gallerynext already included in the rom. Have fun guys!

Trying to install the KitKat ROM as you mentioned before flashing this rom but getting this message from SPFlashTools > "PMT changed for the ROM, it must be downloaded". I'm currently on 4.2.2 VIFROM. Bit of a newbie with SPFlashTool, usually just flash zip via recovery. Watched a video on YouTube which recommended not having the "PRELOADER" selected in the list of items to be flashed as if this goes wrong bye bye phone. What am I doing wrong?

Getting bootloop on the KK rom, will try again.
Does anyone flash the preloader file that comes with rom? Read it's not advised but is it needed to get the KitKat rom installed which then allows AICP to be installed?

Unfortunately LCD screen 1-nt35521_linglong_T499_84M_JDI_dsi_4_vdo_hd is not fully compatible. I've got no touchscreen response after screen off. Damn.. Thanks anyway but it's fall-back to 4.2.2 VIFROM
Well, its too bad your screen isnt fully compatible. I could probably make it work for you with another kernel, but you would lose front camera. Shame thl never released a fully compatible kitkat for the w200s, and all i got to make newer versions work are kitkat ports from the w200c. For the recents panel, you dont have to use gravitybox, there is an option in AICP Extras to enable the clear all button.
I know, shame. The AICP Extras are great, I'd probably not bother installing Xposed because most of the stuff I do with it is already up for use in the rom itself. Well, the only time my front camera would be used is for Cerberus to send me a photo if I were to loose my phone and someone entered wrong unlock code on the lock screen. Apart from that it's rarely used. So, if you ever create AICP without camera working, I'll certainly give that one a try.

Well, i couldn't make aicp 6.0.1 run with the older(and faster) w200c kernel but i made it with aicp 5.0.1. It will be up soon, will options for both compatible kernels.

: I am tired of the general unstable feeling of marshmallow mtk roms. I will not port another marshmallow rom for any phone till the source is a little more stable. A lot of people and porters on needrom came to the same conclusion as me, we spend much time solving bugs on 6.0.1 roms only for more to pop up. Lollipop is perfectly stable, all my lollipop ports for other phones work fine after 1-2 of usage with great speed and great battery backup.
