hi, how to change stock recovery to twrp?
How's GPS, I've heard there have been a few problems?
Finally a good "official" rom. Till now few minor bugs in 3 days.
Easily rooted with the "frabriziolecce" procedure (THX!!!).
No IMEI change after flash.
GPS works well with a fix time of 7-10 seconds, but only after fixing trough engineering menu and MTK EPO app, perhaps because in this rom there is no GPS.conf file.
I add two triks, that you surely will appreciate:
- Enable "Developer Option" in the setting menu: tap "Settings", than "Phone info", than tap repeatedly on the screen till a message will tell you that you are a developer. Go back in the settings menu and you will find the "Developer Options" entry in the menu. DONE!
- Speed up the screen transition to greatly increase the fluidity feeling: settings – developer options – windows animation scale = OFF, transition animation scale = OFF, animator duration scale = OFF (you can choose a value of 0.5 seconds, instead of the default 1… if you really like animations).
Can you explain how fix GPS problem (step by step)? I have the same problem. GPS is missing in Settings. Thanks
Can't seem to get the phone with no battery installed recognised by the VCOM driver. I get error message This device cannot start. (Code 10). I've tried pretty much everything. I've uninstalled and installed several times. The driver I installed is MediaTek DA USB VCOM (Android) (COM 18).
Any ideas how to fix this one? Running from a Windows 7×64 machine.
Working just fine
The only problem that i have is, the SIM Card No. 1 is disconnecting all the time. BUT THAT WAS ALSO BEFORE THE UPDATE.
It seems to be a hardware problem or even the network problem…
THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
Clean the sim contact and try to disable the bands you don't need, in the engineering menu (telefony, bandmode, sim1), according to your operator's frequency and standard.
Let me know.
Install the recovery linked by Marsapa in the first KK upgrade at http://www.adrive.com/public/6.....y_SevenMaxs.zip with SP Flash (can be flashed with the full rom or after, does not matter)
Boot into recovery by holding power+volume up – TWRP will suggest to root and install Super SU – choose this option
Reboot your phone and follow Super SU install instruction from notifications and you will get root with Super SU.
Be patient with all steps wait several minutes……

After rooting as described in my previous post I installed xposed and gravity box….works without issues
I have Marsapa KK v.2.
Should I click "DOWNLOAD" or "FIRMWARE UPGRADE" in flash tool?
firm upgrade
Hello, I have wifi signal loss bug, wi-fi out of range, on previous gen. rom 4.2 everything works fine. Does anyone have a similar problem?
@headeye
did not clean the sim card. what i did is pretty much just pulling the connecting pins from the SIM slot. For now is working. I guess it was the network problem. Ill check with the disabling bands. Thanks
