Don't want to spam this forum but this might be helpful. Since i pulled a paper clip with the sim card into slot, the connection was very good!
Does anyone else have a issue with installing WhatsApp Plus on this ROM ?
Looking for some help here. At this point I have spent a good three days trying to get the phone (with the battery removed) to connect to my PC. I have tried dozens of combinations of drivers and with battery in, battery out, holding the volume up key down while putting in the USB cable, holding the volume down key down while putting in the USB cable. Nothing works.
A few questions:
> Does anyone have a solution to this problem?
> Since I have the rom rar file, is there anyway I can flash the new rom by putting it on a microusb, inserting it in the phone and doing it with the normal upgrade process? Perhaps switching it from rar to zip?
> Can anyone provide the rom in another format so one does not have to use SP Tools?
> Any other tricks that anyone knows? As I said, I've tried to install this on 3 different PCs, Win 7 and Win XP (even a fresh install of Win XP SP3 with no luck.
What happens is I get the USB connection sound and the USB disconnection sound within one second and it will cycle like this every 20 seconds.

There must be a space after + (AT+ EGMR=1,7,"xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx"), otherwise you'll encounter 'not allowed in UserBuild' issue. Good luck.
Is this zip flashable with TWRP 2.7.1.0 by SevenMaxs and are there any othe things i should know before flashing?

It's supposed to be flashed in recovery mode (TWRP/CWM), for SU privileges flash https://drive.google.com/file/.....fdnM/edit?pli=1 after flashing ROM. Then you can also flash the PurePerformancesX (the stock version) I had over 30000 in antutu afterwards (http://forum.xda-developers.co.....d.php?t=2360670), remember to uncheck the force gpu rendering option in developer menu after flashing that.
This Zip worked perfectly for me with TWRP 2.7.1.0 by SevenMaxs.

Just thought I would feedback how I upgraded. I never did get the USB drivers to work, no matter what combos I tried. I was forced to do an upgrade via CWM which I loaded via MobileUncle. CWM is:

You just need to put the appropriate ROM on an SD Card and do a normal recovery operation. I used the following rom:

Don't forget to clear data and cache. All working well so far, very smooth, not laggy like 4.2.2.
With Windows 7 or 8 you will need to disable signed driver enforcement. This will need to be done everytime you want to use the flash tool…

I am having the same problem as you but cant get it to work with MobileUncle ether. I put the KK_official.zip on the sd card and used start in Android System Recovery <3e>. Wipe data/factory reset, Wipe cache partition, Apply update from sdcard, KK_official.zip. The droid keeps falling over??? Message — Instal /sdcard2 … Installation aborted.
Please help
