I tested it in Cech Rep. server Kolin. Work well, up speed 6.33 Mbps and down 1.27 Mbps.

Yes, but rbarat, what happens if you select only UMTS 900 and reboot? Do you still have 3G service?
Only install modem 900MHz, do not have to setup nothing.
So, for those who have bad 3G internet, install one of these files, both support 2100 and delete the nvram (important to do), the other modem files do not.

Hmmm, and this modem_900 is from June 19th. Maybe i'll try swapping the .img file with a more recent one to see what happens :/
This is not true, no need to delete NVRAM. The installation file will fix itself.
If you use my file http://uloz.to/xNPR9qhn/modem-.....900-zip there is no need to manually delete NVRAM, the script will do it for you. If it were necessary, I would have written it. I know what I'm doing.
I substituted the file modem_1_wg_n.img in modem_900 with the one from MT6592_communication_module35P6_2014jul24.zip so the script on modem_900 deleted the nvram, no 3G service and the slots are swapped again. Something bad on that firmware. Is there a different THL 5000 on Russia that names the slot differently?
Rbarat, i think on those speedtests you were using 2100 and not 900. How one knows if the network is on 2100 or 900?
My friend from czech tested 900MHz modem in places where only 900MHZ 3G network and said it works well.
