just the 900 MHz frequency. (mobileuncle) 850 and 2100 its not active.
I know, the carrier 900 Mhz outside the cities is better.
Almost any provider in Europe use this frquence.
My speed with this modem are 6.5 Mbs.
Although the speed depand alot of other things.
Vladimir, just because the frequency is there, it doesn't mean it actually works! That's what i am trying to say to you and rbarat. The only way to confirm it works, is to disable all frequencies on UMTS and select only WCDMA-GSM-900 and reboot. Then wait to see if you get 3Gservice, if not, probably it shows "E" on the network signal.
Can you or rbarat confirm that?
Ok, sorry i missunderstood. You already said you got just the 900 selected and no WCDMA-IMT-2000 (it's the 2100 frequency).
Thing is, on the screenshots rbarat send he got both 2000 and 900 selected, he said it works. But his phone probably was using just WCDMA-IMT-2000. I wanted to confirm that the 900 works on your phones and to do that, only WCDMA-GSM-900 must be selected and the phone REBOOTED, otherwise the setting wont aply.
rbarat, Ok, i know those files 900 and st delete the nvram automatically, but the other files (THL-modemy.zip) do not. At least i looked in the scripts and saw nothing there.
Yes, i know the file supports 900, but have you actually disabled 2100/2000 in engineer mode and rebooted? Because i did that, and no 3G. My operator supports 900 and 2100. Maybe this firmware isn't good on my operator and good on yours and your friend. I really wanted 900.
I did disable (mobileuncle) all WCDMA frequencies except 900 MHZ and I still have the same result. What can I do more.
Rbarat, sorry for the missunderstanding here. When i said "install one of these files, both support 2100 and delete the nvram (important to do), " i meant that the script on those files will delete it automatically.

rom works great with gsm900 …not with other modem files network drops out

I tested FM radio without headphones, it works, but it will not pick up any station, or so very wrong. Earphone cable serves as the antenna and the reception is good.
Radio receiving without headphones requires a really strong radio stations. If you are in areas with weak radio signal, use a headset, which serves as an antenna. This patch is only as interesting subtlety.

I tested with 900Mhz only and got no 3g service, i'll bark at my operators for claiming there is 900Mhz service here, but there is not.
Guys, when wifi is on and all internet traffic uses it, data connection goes off or stays on?
On this ROM, it is possible to define the max CPU speed! Which is great! I don't play games or heavy apps, therefore, i set my max CPU speed at 1100. So far, everything is fluid, no problems, must help save some battery, no?…
So far, this ROM is great, no big problems. Auto Brightness is a bit low, but it's ok. I haven't tested the GPS too much, which to me, is the worse thing this phone has.
Which CPU speed is great? Try that suits you, I left the default.
Hi I have just purchased one of these phones and I was wondering if there is any one in the UK I can contact about helping me performing the bios and Gps fixes that will improve the phone as I am not that comfortable trying them without knowing exactly which bios is best etc and how to install .
Any help would be most appreciated

First, you install recovery

Unzip and replace (in ROM files) with recoveri.img that you have downloaded.
Start Sp Flashtool and seeks scater file in the ROM file downloaded.
Uncheck all.
Check recovery.img only.
Click on download, connect USB cable and press reset button on SIM2. (opens phone behind)
If SP Flashtool finished, reboot telephon.
Swich of phon and press volum + and start at the same time and hold until recovery image.
After you reboot the phone and dovnloads ROM that I found the best

Rbarat, i'm using1.144Ghz. Sometimes it gets a little slow doing something, but i'm ok with that. Turning pages, swiping, etc, is fluid, no complains there. But i think the most battery sucking comes from the screen.
