Responses to “CM 12.1”

  1. Thanks. I don’t really use sim for much other than a few numbers I would want if I ever had to use a non smartphone as emergency. Mostly g contacts. Storing on phone to me is useless. But it was disconcerting to not see save to sim option. Is this zte thing lollipop thing or cyanogen thing?

    Thanks a million to you for giving us this ROM for our models! I had flashed V3.55 official and things crashed. Your rom was a lifesaver! Initial impressions are very good, fluid to operate, stable and everything working fine. Please look in to the battery life improvement, although close to stock, it seems to drain a bit faster than stock – average screen time of 3-3.5 hours is less than 4+ hours on stock, stand by time drain is due to Kernel/Android OS. Otherwise excellent ROM! Keep up the good work!

    I installed first time V10 and it works so far very fluent. But i will test further before i give the "perfect" verdict :)

    Thank you very much for this ROM.

    I installed Gapps from Opengapps.org. They are the latest and work fine on this ROM.

  5. 08/07/2014

    Well, I wiped 3.55 and installed CM 12.1 and it works great. Didn't see any bugs yet. it works fast, stable, gapps work great, there are themes to download. Bugs that I had on v1.50 & 3.15/3.20 doesn't appear here. It also save me to install some apps to do things that official version doesn't have. The battery life is great and flashing the rom is the easiest thing ever! less then 5 minutes and I had rom with gapps running.

    CM 12.1 is the best rom I tried until now
    Thanks paolothlw8 for bringing this rom to us

    Finally and awesom build… Will stick to this asI'm not frequent flasher…

    Just missing latest Stock IR & Nubia Camera App..

    Paolo please do the needful as I want to replace stock app with the same…

    @ Paolo, is it possible for you to add the 'Performance' option in Settings to change the CPU & I/O scheduler settings?

    @Lincom

    Paolo did not add this settings on purpose, in settings menü!

    But the Kernel has the capability to configure this settings.

    To change those kind of values, just install for example "Kernel Audiutor" or similar.

    I am able to reduce the global CPU Voltage by 0,75mV to increase battery life.

    @BaSch, thanks!! I know this but its always better to have it baked in the rom, than a 3rd party app. Anyway, I will download the kernel tweaking tool.
