Instructions :
Please consider Taking a nandroid backup (if something goes wrong)
- First U need Custom recovery v4 : U can Download it here ( only tested on this version. might not work on other recoveries and you might brick your device )
- Download Rom
- Reboot into recovery
- Select Wipe-SYSTEM,DATA,CACHE,DALVIK CACHE ( this will wipe all your data)
- Mount SYSTEM,DATA,CACHE
- Install ROM
- And Reboot
- If ur stuck at boot or if ur having bootloops then wipe Dalvik cache and wipe cache again !

The first boot will take about 5-10 minutes.
Notes :
⚫ This Rom may work on Cubot X17S If installed properly
⚫ This Rom wont Work on the Cubot X16 and can cause serious problems if installed
⚫ This Rom is free of adwares, malwares and preinstalled chinese apps
⚫ Xposed Framework (lollipop 5.1 version) is fully compatible with this rom and can be installed properly

I bought the Cubot X17S. Since the phone has similar hardware with the X17, can this ROM be flashed on it? I would be glad to get your feedback before I risk bricking my phone.

do you know why when i install the twrp at the flash it says done, and if i want to start twrp with poer and VOL + there comes black screen a few seconds and then it reboots to normal.
Can anyone help please ?

First To reboot into recovery you have to hold the power button and the volume up and down when the cubot logo comes release the power button and keep holding the volume + and -
Btw The twrp v6 is not not working properly so install the v4 it works on all updates
im have the same problem to after i press power on an d vol + it came nothing only the normal boot picture i habe a bottloop to ! @.@

- As soon as see the cubot logo, release the buttons d

Hey guys, quick opinion of mine: this ROM is great!
I've been using it for 3 weeks now and and it does not disappoint me – it's quick, it's stable. Using my Cubot as an allrounder (Internet, navigation, Chats, youtube, whatsoever).
There's one (rather small) issue though: If there are many threads or apps open and floating around in the background, the keyboard gets really laggy. But once you clear RAM, all's fine again.

Hi I have a Cubot X16 Can I install the X17 Custom rom 5.2 rom on my X16. Specs are almost the same, the difference is X16 has 2 gig ram and X17 has 3 gig. I have root the phone. Please advise
