First of all
if you want an stable upgrade, i would prefer my LOS-ROM. They are both stable and can be used as daily device. This offical ROM has some "malware" apps and installed by cubot automatically. Actually, i don't know how critical are these apps. Otherwise take a look on my other ROMS directly for our device:

How to install the ROM
You have to use SPFlash tool to flash your device.
The file in the attachment is zipped and valid for SP Flash Tool.
Backup your data somewhere else first (sd-card, computer, etc) and copy it back to your device later.
※Please make a backup of your device before installing or updating ROM

THis Method is for SP Flash Tools (Wipe the whole smartphone). You need the OTA-Method but for this update is only the flash-method released.

This update has ruined my mother's phone.
Can't get any phone network (texts or calls) since updating.
I realise where I went wrong now, the NVRAM got wiped accidentally and I had to redo the IMEI…
Took so long figuring it out.
There's also "nvram warning err = 0×10" appearing as an option in Wi-Fi settings. But I'm connected to my usual router and the internet is all working fine. Any way to make that disappear without rooting? It's not doing anything, but it's annoying to see.
hello, I have this problem I insert this ROM but from the official page of cubot note s, after the installation, nvram appears in the wifi network, and I had changed the IMEI, solve it by trying the IMEI that. they come in the cubot box, but now I try to be root, using the TWRP but with the flashtools it does not work for me I think it says nvram when I try to flash its recovery that I always use is the red TWRP, some way to be root without recovery, or I should do to make recovery work again, because I like to be root why in this ROM come several unnecessary applications.
Use the download link on top for TWRP (added today). Your device has DL2016 chip. RED TWRP is only for the old chip.

You guys should switch to LineageOS13 as stable alternative with much newer security updates, more features and bugless.
