Why the update is a good friend but strangely wrong and wrong chip models are not all stupid .This guy is VERY STUPID!
hello, I have a problem when I try to install the flasthool me out mistakes, as it should istalar ?If this is for 6753 model e04, has anyone tried porting to 6752?
I am not a developer and have never ported rom before.. but imagine it would be fairly simple to do since 6753 and 6752 models would be very similar..
Would it be worth trying to port?
Our Guru`s says that its imposible. Coz developers from ECOO do for our kit "uniq" layouts.
More: It so uniq, that themselves can`t do anything with our firmware.
hmm…. stay with android 5.0 then i suppose. solved my overheating so could be worse…
btw anyone know when cm12.1 will be ready? last i saw about it was just a bug with playing video to fix. will be a finished version soon? (sorry if this question is posted wrong place)

@ lozdawney
the problem for porting a real 5.1 to our ecoo e04 is the kernel, the latest kernel from ecoo e04 does not support
it. so a smart dev could maybe rewrite it, with source from iocean or zopo ? the port itself is not the problem.
now that sounds promising… all we need now is a dev willing to get started
and looked at the mt6753 version, it only runs 1.3ghz!?? would rather stay with what i have now lol and btw let me know if you want to know how to fix overheating. i used a simple hardware mod to do it, no underclock or undervolt needed. easy to do! running android 5.0 rom and no "battery too hot" messages while gaming
mh, the developing for our phone is pretty low. i doubt that it sounds promising ! if you got a hardware solution for overheating, you should
share it with the other users here !
guess i should… pics and instructions to follow
should i post here or somewhere else? if somewhere else link me please
ok… so i am not able to borrow a camera/phone to take pictures with for now….
so, i will just describe the fix and upload images later. basically the fone just needs a better heat-spreader..
open the phone up to expose the board inside and you will see the thin black material stuck over the chipset. this is the heat-spreader and is not enough to do the job. remove (very carefully!!) the led flash flex ribbon and fold up out of the way. remove the thin black layer (i used a scraper tool followed by some solvent to get rid of the the last dregs) once the surface is clear and clean stick firmly into place some better material. i used some self-adhesive copper sheet i got from inside an old android tablet i had laying around.
put back the led for the flash and re-assemble phone….
no more heat problems!
