Hi All,
This is my first Post on this site. I moved from the Samsung Phone to one of the many Chinese Android phones. I'm happy with these phone (and this site was of great help to me in updated my first Chinses phone (THL W11). I recently purchaesed the Elephone P8 (another great phone). I've been watching the net for any new rom and I today I found a link from gizmochina for new Android 4.4.2 ROMs for multiple Elephone devices (P6, P7 mini, P8 and P9). Here is the link for all ROM published by Baidu:

I have included the link for the P8 rom. I haven't tested it as yet.

This phone is the same as the Tianhe H9008, the H9008 Series could be put on this?

hi, who installed the rom? there are only 2 languages? Chinese and English?
I've found an issue with this ROM – Copying a large amount of data (video files for example) can cause a lockup on the phone. It's happened to me twice installing the ROM (I had to pull the battery out each time to get the phone to proper working order). In the middle of file transfer, my PC reports the drive (phone) is not ready. I check the phone – it's non-responsive at this point. After pressing a few buttons, my phone report there is a process which has crashed & needs to be restarted. I click on OK & all my icon disappear for a few seconds (similar to a explorer.exe crash in windows). Icon return, but I can't get the phone to sync up with the PC again (to finish my file transfer) until I restart the phone. This might only affect user transferring files to the micro SD card (as I was) – Haven't trying copying same data onto phone's memory
How have you installed this software ?

Use Mtk dorid tools.
I used this program, but I cannot use it to instal zip files. It wont work…. I cannot instal kit kat 4.4 for my P8
You can install clockworkmod on your current android version with Mtk droid tools. Then you can installa zip files in recovery mode.
I tried to instal zip file in recovery mode, but I get an information that the check sum is incorrect…..I can't instal this software…why ?

On my server is a patched version of this ROM because there are some bugs.
(Force close if youtry o change lockscreen wallpaper for example)
Remember Elephone P8 and Sesonn N9000+ are same phones!
Is there just English and Chinese languages on the rom? Jakemeister, can you meke it multilanguage version? I liked your first custom rom and thanks for that. Sorry my poor English.

Hi, i tried to install this rom with spflash tools v5 but it gone in bootloop…how do you install zip from recovery if the file is a rar file? can you explane me how i can install this rom?
