   Great job Sambaaa! I use this rom for 2 weeks and it is working perfectly. I have one question: how can i disable the icon of the sim 1 or sim 2 (at the top on the screen)? Thank you.

     Hi, you mean icon of the sim you're not using, right? Launch GravityBox > statusbar tweaks> autohide Sim

   Yeah, thanks! I have 2 wifi connections: one at work and one at home. Unfortunately, I can use wifi just at home. At work i can also make the wifi connection but it don't work (password is not wrong and the other settings are OK). Before installing this rom I had't this problem. Is there a restriction in the settings to use 2 wifi connections? Thank you in advance.

     No, of course no restriction to number of wifi connections. Your router at work may be incompatible with a few build.prop tweaks. Try to delete all 3G turbocharger entries in /system/build.prop, you can find them at the end of the file. Save edited build.prop and remember to check that permissions are set to rw-r–r– or you'll get into a bootloop. Reboot needed to apply changes

     Anyways which gamma version are you running? Gamma v1.4 is slightly different from v1.3 even for what concerns connection management (v1.4 should less likely give issues than v1.3).

      Does it lag more than stock rom or the same? Anyways to play games of any kinds without lags, you can try resolution changer script that I prepared for this rom. See here:

   Hi Sambaaa, first of all, I would like to thank you for your non-stop developing of rom for iOcean X7. Generally your rom is much smoother than the stock rom. But when it comes to playing games especially HD games (minion rush, NBA), it is just the same with stock and other roms I tried, it lag. On minion rush, it has a delay on the movement of the character with the slide of finger. I already lowered the resolution to the lowest but it doesn't help.

   Before I use the Youth 1gb 4gb. Thinking of maybe it is because of the small ram (1gb) together with MTK6589 (1,2ghz) CPU that is why it lags. Now I use it the Elite 2gb 32gb, unfortunately, just the same.

   Just want to share some information. I also used the phone ThL (W300 and W11) 2gb 32gb, it also lag (on games).  ZTE 697s, Jiayu G4A, Huawei G700, on these phones, it is smooth (games).

     Yes, it depends on one thing only: screen resolution. Iocean, thl w300 and thl w11 are all provided of a FHD screen. Huawei and Jiayu have a simple HD screen and ZTE has just a QHD screen. They all share the same MT6589(T) SoC which has a pretty week GPU, at least a bit too weak for a FHD screen. Resolution changer script goal is to try to reduce lags due to GPU weakness, but lowering resolution via software is not the same as having a real HD-QHD screen: smoothness will increase, but not be the same as a real HD-QHD screen. I'm afraid there's no much I can do because it mainly depends on hardware…

     Thank you very much! That's really much appreciated  Hope that patch really solves your issues since it removes the only difference in connection management between gamma and stock.

   Hello Sambaaa,

   thanks a lot for your work. I will flash this week and then donate if it works for me. I have some questions for now:

   - will there be version 1.5 any time soon?
   - why backlit keys work only on youth model – don’t other models have led’s ot is it a sw problem?
   - does light sensor work on elite?
   - how did you fix your gps antenna – same as shown on several youtube videos?
   - are google play ghost touches fixed in your rom? recently i’ve been experiencing these also i google plus app

     -yes, I'm working on it. Main goal of that version is to extend 52 languages support to almost all system apps. Scrolling and smoothness will slightly improve too. Anyways you can flash v1.4 because I've created and incremental upgrade feature for v1.5 which will detect your rom version, x7 model, … and customize rom upgrade modifying only necessary files, not the whole rom from scratch, so you won't lose your data in v1.4 –> v1.5 upgrade.

     -only first released x7 youth have hardware keys backlight from an hardware point of view. No x7 turbo, no x7 plus and no x7 elite support that feature because they're missing leds (AFAIK), so there's no way to enable them.

     -I got youth, so don't really know about elite, but I guess it's the same: they all have light sensor, but doesn't work really well (seems to set just two values: 100% and 0%).

     -that cannot be solved through a rom update, it depends on touch driver, follow this procedure, but be careful because it's really dangerous (and works on iocean elite only, other x7 will be bricked):
