Hello everybody, I prepared a new custom rom compatible with ANY Iocean x7 based on latest stock firmware for Iocean Elite (02/12 version). I implemented Aroma Installer from Gamma v1.2 onwards and rom zip is now the same for any Iocean x7 (Youth, Youth Turbo, Plus, Elite).

Installation guide
|
To flash this rom you need a custom recovery as CWM or TWRP. You can download TWRP for all Iocean from here. Otherwise if you prefer CWM, download this CWMrecovery.img for Iocean x7 Youth/Youth Turbo or this one for Iocean x7 Plus/Elite and flash it through MobileUncleTools app. I strongly recommend you to take a Nandroid Backup before flashing this (or any other) rom. I recommend you to backup your IMEI too. To do this you can simply write both IMEI on a piece of paper (you can find them in Settings > About Phone > Status > IMEI information)

Thank you, I'm thinking whether to slightly theme it (Kitkat style for example) or leave it with iocean stock look. I like iocean rom look, but maybe people get bored without any change

I just flashed your ROM and it seems to works very stable
But there is something strange. It's not possible to start Google Now anymore, message from the widget is, Google Now is not available and I don't get the Google Now welcome screen in case I start the Google Search App. Also Google Earth isn't compatible to my phone after flashing your ROM. Both was running with the latest official ROM without any problems
Is there a way to fix it ?

Strange, both Google Now and Earth work fine for me. Maybe you could try to reflash rom with full wipe, because I've never heard of such a issue before.

…not sure I got what you meant with 'rome slow', but if you explain in detail I could somehow help you. Anyways bad performances are 99% of the times due to crappy apps
If you still have the first version of the rom running and you want to upgrade, do you need to do a full wipe ( data, cache, dalvik cache and system)?
yes, it's mandatory for everyone except those running v1.4 because it's embedded inside installer (no matter what you wipe, I set the installer so that it wipes everything anyways). If you want you can wait for v2.0 which will be released in the next days.
MusicFX is not available in this ROM T.T

thousand thanks you,i went from 1.4 to 1.5 there rom are beautiful and they're have solved many of my problems but the green screen as soon if i use skype or video call.before with official rom the front camera don't working .think you can settle this problem recurring in the future? a big thanks you for this jewerly!!!!

That issue is related to stock rom I took as a base (130722), v2.0 is almost ready and will solve your green camera issues

Where do you get the latest stock rom for iocean?
Another question,there is a rom for my other phone but the problem is that it reads the internal storage as the external storage/sdcard how can i change it. I know this is out ouf topic i was wondering of you can help. ☺☺☺:)
For what concerns stock roms, it depends, sometimes from iocean official forum, sometimes not. 1202 rom comes from a russian forum, but it has been recently posted here on needrom too.
Talking about your phone, how partitions get mounted mainly depends on /system/bin/vold /system/etc/vold.fstab and ramdisk. If it's a port, try to replace bin/vold with stock one, of course setting proper permissions. If it doesn't work, I suggest you to give a deeper look to ramdisk and vold.fstab
