Hello everybody, I prepared a new custom rom compatible with ANY Iocean x7 based on latest stock firmware for Iocean Elite (02/12 version). I implemented Aroma Installer from Gamma v1.2 onwards and rom zip is now the same for any Iocean x7 (Youth, Youth Turbo, Plus, Elite).

Installation guide

To flash this rom you need a custom recovery as CWM or TWRP. You can download TWRP for all Iocean from here.
Otherwise if you prefer CWM, download this CWMrecovery.img for Iocean x7 Youth/Youth Turbo or this one for Iocean x7 Plus/Elite and flash it through MobileUncleTools app.
I strongly recommend you to take a Nandroid Backup before flashing this (or any other) rom. I recommend you to backup your IMEI too. To do this you can simply write both IMEI on a piece of paper (you can find them in Settings > About Phone > Status > IMEI information)

To install it, follow these simple steps:

Download zip file of the rom (see Download section) and put it in your sdcard - PUT IT IN EXTERNAL SD IF YOU WANT TO REPARTITION
Reboot into recovery
Wipe data (factory reset if you're using CWM), wipe cache and wipe dalvik cache (advanced section in CWM) - DO NOT WIPE SYSTEM
Install rom zip from sdcard/external sdcard and follow Aroma installer wizard

Aroma installer will give you the possibility to repartition internal sdcard (more available space for apps).
If you choose "Do nothing" option, go to point #6 of this guide
If you choose "Repartition" follow instructions in the spoiler below:

Repartitioning Intructions

Select Show

Follow Aroma instructions and reboot once finished
Be patient, first boot may take longer than usual
Read post #2 to get the best from this rom (do not skip this)

thank you for this excellent work. excellent fluidity , after having tried a dozen of rom, I can say that is the best, the only for my elite x7. problems with camera and green screen are solved. I can finally make video calls. a big thank you

I would like to try this ROM but I wonder if it is possible to return to that currently have installed is the official 1202 iOcean X7 Plus and how.

  The easiest way is to put a custom recovery (e.g.: attached TWRP), take a backup in recovery (aka nandroid backup), flash my rom and restore backup through recovery in case you don't like it.

Hi, Sambaaa. First, Happy New Year! Then, thanks a lot for your ROM. It's perfect! The only thing I can't figure out is how to change the color of WiFi antenna, battery and simcard. The thing is that these are all white. If I change the simcard color for blue, it's white… The other colors do work. Am I doing smth wrong? Sorry for being a bit dummy. I've tried in the phone settings and in Nova's ones too. Thanks in advance.

  For what concerns graphical mods, you can find almost all you need inside GravityBox. For that launch gravitybox>statusbar>colours. Blue simcard in settings is white because I needed to replace stock icons to put white ones.

My iOcean X7 Elite,rom is established without mistakes,but isn't started.I did all wipe,installations by default.After start hangs on prompt.

  Tethering and hotspot work in this rom (I use them daily with H3G), but from Android 4.2 onwards they can be blocked by operator. If they don't work on Gamma v2.0, then they shouldn't be working with stock rom neither. You can give a try to this app to unlock tethering https://mega.co.nz/#!B5tBgQQI!.....l2GEawihENsrjCQ
