Official ROM for G2 Dual core
OS Version: Android 4.1.2 Date:01/18/2013 Beta 1
ROM Install : with update on sd card (you download file G2 PLUS SD )
Card brush, set the software package two files into the T card root directory, as shown below:
(1) upgrade package: update.zip
(2) AAAAB3NzaC1kc3MAAACBANLc2NCufBz0lBUupztiXI7rUnhY3bOojTMmGD0SR68e8kK00EM5n0ghfpaDxayZD.zip Folder
- Enter the interface as shown below, click on the system upgrade interface shown in the figure appears, click on the down arrow to the right, appearing in interface begins upgrade
ROM Install : with Flashtool and recovery (you download file G2 PLUS FL )
Unpacked driver installation and install.
To unpack SP_Flash_Tool_exe_v3.1244.0.sn85.zip run Flash_tool.exe
Select a the in MT6577_Android_scatter_emmc.txt in Recovery with Flashtools
Click Flash_tool.exe interface Firmware-> Upgrade
Phone after taking the battery in put something
Connect the data cable
Brush finished with green circles appears
※Please make a backup of your device before installing or updating ROM
If you are having trouble getting the phone into update mode for use with flash tool, turn it off, hold down the volume up button, plug the usb cable in and wait. Click Firmware->Upgrade in Flash Tool and it should work.

I can flash new 4.1.2 with any problems?

It's very difficult for me. I don't know but flashplayer don't work on my pc, never start!.
I try to install only recovery with Mobileuncle. After i can try to install 4.1.2 with Sd card.

emmm..flash tool and not flash player. ehehe
This always happens you have to load Flash tools that is attached to your computer, then load scatter and click on firmware update.. after take the battery off for a couple of seconds, then plug the battery and quickly plug, the flash program will recognices the drivers and starts to load.

found a bug with this ROM with this version fo Jiayu… rear camera is not recognized, I will try to restore from previous nandroid backup and I will see if this works.
Any idea or suggestions Socr@te?
Version G2-20130118-102229 is the one that is working with this Jiayu!

very good rom. however, i cannot get google voice search to work after I did a user data wipe. When I choose to download a language pack, google search stops working with "Unfortunately, Google search has stopped working"
looks my sd card was no good. replacing it means everything working. when do we get 4.2?

now have the update to 4.1.2. and kernel version 3.4.0.
Built Number is now: G2H-20130118-115623 it was before the update: g2h-20120910132127.
