ROM mobile JIAYU G2 PLUS – ROM Android 4.1.2 Official Beta 1
Official ROM for G2 Dual core
OS Version: Android 4.1.2 Date:01/18/2013 Beta 1
ROM Install : with update on sd card (you download file G2 PLUS SD )
Card brush, set the software package two files into the T card root directory, as shown below:
(1) upgrade package: update.zip
(2) AAAAB3NzaC1kc3MAAACBANLc2NCufBz0lBUupztiXI7rUnhY3bOojTMmGD0SR68e8kK00EM5n0ghfpaDxayZD.zip Folder
- Enter the interface as shown below, click on the system upgrade interface shown in the figure appears, click on the down arrow to the right, appearing in interface begins upgrade
ROM Install : with Flashtool and recovery (you download file G2 PLUS FL )
Unpacked driver installation and install.
To unpack SP_Flash_Tool_exe_v3.1244.0.sn85.zip run Flash_tool.exe
Select a the in MT6577_Android_scatter_emmc.txt in Recovery with Flashtools
Click Flash_tool.exe interface Firmware-> Upgrade
Phone after taking the battery in put something
Connect the data cable
Brush finished with green circles appears

I have the Jiayu G2 MTK6577, 512MB/4GB
I installed the driver, started the flashtool, selected the scatter file, the phone was recognized, the update started (I tried both ways, selecting "Download" and "Firmware Upgrade"), the update completed succesfully with the green circle.
But now my Jiayu is dead! Not even the red/green LED for the battery charger gives any sign, wenn the phone is connected to the charger.
What can I do?
normally version G2plus is 1GB ram not 512 ram
Now some are saying that it works with 512

As I said, the phone is dead, but I can see it from the flashtool.a
I also believe someone said earlier in this chat that it works with the 512MB version too.
In the meantime I will try some other ROMs.

I used the version G2-20130118-102229 (I will leave you the link for the files I actually used) it has been stable so far. I used the flashtool attached in this thread… I can tell you that my G2 was dead before this rom, I plugged the phone, choosed the scatter and clicked in firmware.. afterwards I took of the battery and plugged it after a couple seconds. Hope this works for you as well.

I have JY-G2 MTK6577 version. It has G2H 20120910-132127 build number. Can I install this rom withouth fear.

E-mail client won't sync mail with Exchange servers.
Scrolling has very annoying "bounce" bug with fast swipes.

Thank you very much for this firmware. The camera works better on this firmware then on the original 4.0.4, but I gave 4 stars for it because the GPS still doesn't work. I'll probably try LeWa's firmware to check the GPS and camera as well.
