Yay!!!  I've finally managed to do this upgrade and it's great so far!

For anyone who was having trouble, what I discovered is that,

    1.  You may need to try several different versions of the SP Flash tool – on my 3rd attempt, the Flazshtoolmod UBIFS one worked!

    2.  DO NOT hit the dowload button….you need to click on the 'Firmware –> Upgrade' button instead.

    3.  If you have Snappea installed on your PC/laptop and it works okay, you will NOT need to download any drivers from anywhere – your PC/laptop has already installed them when you set up Snappea.

    4.  As a double-check, if there are no icons on Device Manager with an exclamation mark beside then, your drivers are properly installed and your phone will upgrade just fine.  Your device will show as YunOS Phone.

    Good luck!

Hi, i hope you can help me.

    I believe, i have bricked my L800.

I tried to flash with SP_Flash_Tool_v5.1348.00 and with SP_MDT_exe_v3.1336.00.00, but both programs had problems.

flashtool gave me an error message about wrong checksum in uboot, when i tried to load the scatterfile of L800.zip, and SP_MDT made nothing with that scatterfile.

Then i tried this and that (with checksum_ini.exe and other scatterfiles and drivers etc.) and suddenly i became a result, the flsh process ended with the green circle. Igot that result with the rom "Landvo L800", not with "L800", because with "L800" i always had the checksum error, when loading the scatterfile.

But now i have no reaction of my phone, not with normal power on, and not with power on and vol up.

Only if i remove the battery, hold vol up and connect the phone per usb to the pc, then win7 64 shows for some seconds that"Alcatel Single RNDIS Interface". in usbdview is the same shown.

    can you please help me?

      Hi Okango

Did you do a backup with MTK Droid Root & Tools first?

If you did then it will have made a recovery at the same time and I would try to flash that before doing anything else.

DON'T flash any more roms!  You will do more harm than good.

It wasnt hard to do the update if you have knowledge about android .. It is faster with the new 4.4.2 OS . Saves more batery and other stuff.

BUT, its hard to root , gravity sensors not working right but can be fixed.

I think its worth to get it and it has a lot of cool features like the flashlight notification .

PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS ROM PEOPLE!!!

I found a UUPay virus on the Play Store app that's on it which wasn't detected by my AV app – 360 Security.

It was only detected by Eset and I had to sideload a clean copy to overwrite it.

I don't trust the roms on this site any more and suggest that others use them with caution.

    You have been warned.

    Hi I'm Byron,
It would be nice you did a video tutorial on how to update and rooting the device especially Landvo L800. I would greatly appreciate it.
    Excuse my English, I'm Spanish.
